“This was a VERY nice restaurant for the family. It was centrally located for all of us to drive in and meet up. Everyone had their choices and it was all very good. Staff was great and attentive plus we all got our meals really fast. We all recommend this place - We've never been here before - took each of us about an hour to get to from where we all live. There were 6 adults and the staff had absolutely no trouble accommodating us and so fast. Thank you.”

“My favorite place when I come to Sylvan Beach...never a bad meal EVER. Got the sausage gravy and biscuits this time., eggs and toast, with a carrot cake pancake on the side...SO GOOD. And the coffee ..chefs kiss! Of your going to Sylvan Beach, EAT HERE!!”

“I have had a lot of Chinese takeout in my life. I was a broke line cook in Syracuse and Buffalo, takeout was king, but this is leaps and bounds better than anything I've had prior to this. My wife and I love the Scallion Pancakes, Lemon Chicken (serious katsu vibe), Spare Ribs (boneless mostly, but both are great), and most recently easily the best Mapo tofu I have ever had. I've had it at Peach Blossom at Turning Stone, and Taste of China is easily better. Far better distinction of different flavors, no lack os Sichuan peppercorns, and like half the price of the Casino. Try the Mapo, especially during cold season, it may change your life. Mapo Bean Curd, you won't be sorry.”

“Our first visit tonight, we were greeted by the most kindest women. She was so knowledgeable and told us all her specials and recommendations. We had the best soup and meal. Very tasty. We then went to the bar and met John, we were able to sit on the deck with a perfect view and our greeter(John’s wife)came out and talked to us several times made us feel right at home. Very comfortable setting amazing view and food. If you have not stopped at this amazing gem you need to.”

“The coffee shop is cute and the staff is very friendly. Very accommodating. However, you can tell most baked items are not fresh but refrigerated. The blueberry muffins, which I have retried many times, always taste like a refrigerator cooler. If you are going to serve day old items may I suggest wrapping them tightly to avoid a refrigerator cooler taste.”

“A little bit on the expensive side but the food is well worth it. Food is cooked to perfection and the portions are actually pretty decent size. Staff were very friendly both over the phone and in person. When I arrived for my pick up order, there were people inside that seemed to be having a great time. “We reached out for a “30” birthday cake and provided inspo pictures. Mallory was quick to respond, reasonably priced, and so sweet when I met her to pick up the cake. The cake turned out exactly how we hoped from the inspo pictures. Everyone at the party raved about how it looked and even more about how it tasted. They really could not stop talking about how good it was. I highlyyy recommend.”

“Decided to stop here while driving between Boston and Toronto. It was just off the hwy and had great reviews. What a little gem. It’s a convenience store with a food counter. They have a ton of imported snacks and candy toys.

We ordered lunch, had a nice chat with the guy behind the counter, my husband found some random candy he has been looking for months for and some other snacks. We were in and out in 15 minutes.

The “special” burrito was delicious, chicken gyro was a little greasy, and the kids devoured the nuggets.

No seating, no bathrooms, convenience store setting.”
