There's not a lot of choices in Wanakena, but don't think that you have to settle for the Pine Cone Grill. We had a wonderful meal there. The menu's limited, but every thing that we ordered was tasty and well prepared. The chicken wings would make any bar in Buffalo proud, plus they serve them dry, so you can dip 'em in a variety of sauces. Nice. The haddock sandwich was enormous and good. Food is good, it's the only game in town. Not sure why they close at 7pm? It would be great if they had tables outside that they served food at, because it is hot in there sometimes.

My friend and I didn't go to the Pine Cone grill but went fishing in the water directly across the street. It was a hotspot for Bullhead! In 2 hours time we took home close to a dozen Bullhead. And they were delicious!!!
