She described each thing on the menu like it was a work of art, making you drool just thinking about how delicious it would be. We ordered the Hummus with pita and vegetables as a starter, which was quite good. I had the rigatoni, which was spicy and tasty. My companion had the hamburger, which was somewhat ordinary, but also had the sauteed broccoli rabe as the side, which was quite tasty also. For dessert we had the bread pudding, which was excellent Two negatives, first they were unable to serve any beer, something to do with a CO2 problem. The food here is outstanding and so it’s a favorite gathering spot for friends and when we recently booked it for a birthday dinner, they called the day before to tell us they had to close for a private party. They offered to transfer the reservation to Rustic Root (also delicious!) and gave us a gift card. We thought that was a very kind gesture and then were floored to find out that they also covered the cost of our dinner at the sister restaurant! That’s incredible customer...
