Today I buried my best friend of 46 years. This was a place chosen for after the service meal. More than a dozen of us showed up and they made accommodations by moving some tables around to fit the whole group together.

The staff was immediately jumping to help us and make our needs their priority, and once we're all settled they quickly got the food orders back to the kitchen. We were still deep in conversation when the food came out, very much a nice surprise.

I ordered the Bistro Burger and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. You can easily spend a lot more and get a burger that's really no better than this. I usually go with medium well and it was cooked the perfection. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, very fresh not springy and spongy like they've been sitting around for days.

Overall, Circle M rates as one of the better diners I've been to. I don't live in Long Island so that's the first time I've ever been there but in the coming years when I go to visit my friend, Terry Roth, laid to rest in new Montefiore cemetery, and I will always come back to Circle M for a meal.

It used to have great customer service, but now it’s awful! They answer the phone “hello” not “Circle M” They get my order wrong 90% of the time! Matzo ball soup is just hot water!!!!

Circle M Diner is truly shining under its new ownership. The moment you walk in, you can feel the difference — warm hospitality, a cleaner and more inviting atmosphere, and a refreshed energy that makes the whole place feel brand-new.

The updated menu is fantastic. Extended hours for a late night bite is a plus! There’s a perfect balance of classic diner comforts and thoughtful new additions, all made with noticeably fresher ingredients. Whether you're stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, every plate comes out hot, flavorful, and generously portioned. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely excited about the changes, which makes the dining experience even better.

It’s wonderful to see such a beloved local spot get the love it deserves. If you haven’t been to Circle M Diner lately, now is the perfect time to come back — you’ll be pleasantly surprised!

Went and ordered cheddar cheese on my food as I have an allergy to American cheese. The first time they brought it out it had American i politely sent it back and apologized profusely because I hate being that person, but again I do have an allergy to it. It was obvious it was America by the look, texture, and it was tasted by someone at my table. They then bring it back and the server says I watched them do it it's all cheddar, when you can look at it and see clearly on the potato's is two different cheeses. 1/4 of it is cheddar the other 3/4s is American which in the picture attached you can clearly see not to mention after tasting it you can taste the difference. N which I tasted it myself and now have a very itchy red tongue (luckily my allergy is not severe). They then took my food off but still charged us for the other persons meal, which is okay not a problem but when we went up to speak to the owner who also was ringing us up he rushed us out n wouldn't even give us the to speak (maybe he didn't speak good English) but still it was beyond rude. With the itch of my tongue becoming more frustrating we called in and they then proceeded to tell me it was all cheddar cheese they watched them do it. N argued over n over again luckily my allergy is not severe. N I hate to bring race into it, but from the moment we arrived the looks I got and the way everything was handled n treated n the way the owner and his wife treated and looked that could very well be the biggest issue. My bestfriend who I came there with goes to that diner at least twice a week and brings countless people and even she was questioning the true feelings behind it and has never experienced that type of service there. I am disgusted. When I called all I needed was for them to take some accountability instead they were rude told me I was wrong, yet again you can clearly see in the photo the two different types of cheeses on these. They told me they trust the men working for them and they know it was all cheddar yet again you can clearly see the difference in the photo!

A quiet diner on the northern edge of Wantagh. Friendly service.
