Dirty Taco in Wantagh absolutely crushed it for lunch! Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the vibe was just as fantastic. Our waitress was awesome and we really enjoyed all the tacos. If you’re looking for a delicious and fun lunch spot, this is it!

I ordered the jerk chicken taco and crunchy beef both were disappointing, they didnt use traditional jerk seasoning and tasted more like a chicken nugget. The crunchy beef was soggy when i picked up. Both had very little flavor

Ah dirty taco.. I’ve driven past, and heard from friends about you over the years. I finally decided to give the place a try and boy was I disappointed. The restaurant is small, the parking lot is not substantial enough and doesn’t do online reservations so arriving at 7:20 on a rainy Tuesday and being hit with a 30 minute wait was a bit surprising. My table and menus were sticky upon reaching my table and my waiter was not pleasant. He was condescending and rude throughout my meal. I honestly couldn’t tell you why people like this places margaritas but we couldn’t get through 2 sips they were that bad ( way too strong with a very bitter taste to them). The tacos were small, and unremarkable ( especially for $7 having a carne asada taco that was mostly onions was unacceptable). Three words to describe this place: Expensive, Loud, Unpleasant . Some people love this place and to them I say enjoy! I however will not be returning.

Casual, fun and delicious. Consistently good service, courtesy of Frankie, our favorite server, with freshly prepared food that is excellent. Very accommodating for gluten free dietary restrictions and the margaritas are excellent - especially on Wednesday and Saturdays, where the bartender nails every drink. We dine in and take out. Heads up for birria taco lovers -better to eat them in house, rather than take out (still yummy when you get the home - just not as crispy).

Stay away if DAVE the manager is working! We have been coming here for 4 years and seems like the manager DAVE can never get a hand on his staff or customer service. Gina is ALWAYS our go to, BUT Ryan, Stephanie and Lisa are amazing as well! Paired with great manager like CHRIS! This is the place you want to enjoy your dinner. Regardless if it a casual or a special occasion Dirty Taco Wantagh or any of their locations will have your happy you joined them for lunch or dinner! If Dave is here walk away and ask for Chris or visit there other locations. Visit Willy in Patchogue!

Always great food and drinks at Dirty Taco. Consistently great! Their classic margaritas are one the best I've ever had. Their tacos are awesome. I recommend getting two tacos and then if you are still hungry order another. Their tacos selection is very large and I find it hard to decide. Their guac is awesome. The only issue is their chips (also very good) are thin and can break in the guac. Highly recommend Dirty Taco. You will not regret it!
