The venue is absolutely stunning, with amazing views of the ocean that provided a perfect backdrop for the celebration. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. We especially loved the outdoor tented area—it was great to have a spot with a nice breeze and an outdoor bar where guests could mingle and enjoy the scenery. Heather made wedding planning an absolute breeze. As someone who didn’t want to be overly involved in the tiny details, Heather’s expertise and responsiveness made me feel completely taken care of.
John is everything you want in a maître d’: professional, warm, sharp. He made the entire event feel seamless — especially when we had to pivot due to weather. He waited until the last moment to move the ceremony indoors (per my hopeful request!) and did so with calm, confident leadership. He kept us on schedule while allowing flexibility for those spontaneous wedding moments.
Ginger was the unsung hero of my wedding day as my bridal attendant. She never stopped moving, never stopped checking on me, and made every second in the bridal suite feel calm, supported, and joyful.

My wife and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary in Sep 2024 and we decided to use Gatsby as our venue. Now, I’m the groom so this review is going to come from a man’s perspective. Let’s start from the beginning because after months and months of going to venue after venue, I was growing tired of it all to be honest. None of the places we went to really clicked for me the way our original venue did back 10 years ago. And yes, we tried our original venue but the pricing was just way too expensive. Plus this was our 10 year so we wanted it a bit smaller, a bit more intimate, and we now had two beautiful children that we wanted involved. We wanted our kids to see mommy and daddy get married without going absolutely broke in the process. The first thing we noticed when arriving at Gatsby was just the beauty of it. To me, it looks like a Castle. And of course, it’s on the water which my wife loves.
We met up with Heather and she immediately hit me as “down to earth”. She didn’t bombard us with paperwork, instead she sat down at a table with us and we just talked. She made a formal situation feel very casual and I respect that. She also listened to what our desires and goals were and suggested any ideas to make that into a reality. To say that she was welcoming and friendly is a given. There was just something about the way she talked to us. I didn’t feel like business, it felt like talking to your best friend about your wedding date. Or in our case, a wedding renewal. I really liked that we get the venue to ourselves. This wasn’t a country club where your party would take place in one room while 4 more parties happened right next door. This was private for you and your guests.
Fast forward to the day of our event and I have no complaints. The staff were all amazing but in particular there is one staff member in that really stood out for me. See, I am the Groom, not the Bride and let’s be honest here, weddings are really all about the Bride. That’s just the way it is. 10 years ago when we first got married you’d be lucky if the venue had a Groom’s Suite let alone any of the staff to actually assist the Groom. But here at Gatsby, a staff member named Ginger whom is the bridal assistant really went out of her way to not only help my beautiful bride, but also me and our children. She was quite simply amazing to all of us and she actually introduced me to a new drink, (Gingerale and Jamison I believe it was) I was always more of a Jack and Coke type. Ginger went above and beyond to make sure we were all taken care of and having a great time. And just the fact that she was helping me and getting me anything I needed really spoke to me. I didn’t have anyone 10 years ago except my own groomsmen. But Ginger made me, the Groom, feel just as important as the Bride. I can’t express how that made me feel. Thank you Ginger.
The food was also amazing. We had no complaints and any of it and all of our guests complimented the quality and flavor.
Overall, we had a great time and so did our guests. Thank you to Gatsby, thank you to its staff, and thank you to Ginger for helping my wife and I create new memories that our children were able to be a part of. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

My wife and I recently got married at The Gatsby and I’m not even sure where to begin. Elyse was amazing to deal with. She made everything so easy and everything came out perfect. Next was the food! We did a cocktail style dinner instead of a traditional menu and it was the move! Everyone hasn’t stopped raving about it. My wife and I are big foodies and not a single item disappointed. And John was great as well. He kept everything on track and made the celebration seamless. Caitlin was super attentive. She even made our younger guests feel at home by setting them up with the TV in the grooms suite. All of this for a very affordable price to boot. Our deepest gratitude to all of the staff that made our wedding celebration so memorable.

We recently had our daughter's Sweet Sixteen at Gatsby on the Ocean and I cannot emphasize enough just how amazing the experience was – from the breathtaking room of windows with the sunset over the ocean as a backdrop, the incredible art deco decor – it was flawless and absolutely magical. Most importantly, the diligence and competence of the entire Gatsby team, especially Heather and John, made everything from the planning to the actual party so seamless and stress free it was a joy! They accommodated us at every turn, their expertise helping us with any challenge we encountered. Both of them are like family now. Every single person at Gatsby took such great, personal care of us; the party was a smash and the pictures stunning. Another plus? The event was actually affordable. My husband and I wish we had Gatsby for our wedding 25 years ago, it was truly that spectacular. My cousin had a bat mitzvah here and it was PHENOMENAL. The drinks were incredibly strong, the food (both appetizers and entrees) were amazing and delicious, the MC and DJ were awesome, and it was like a wedding!
The interior is so nice, and a man greeted us at the door with champagne. We all felt like royalty and it was incredibly special. The food was really outstanding, I got the salmon entree and it was SO yummy.
Would definitely have my own event here one day!
