Great brunch - a big selection of food.
I ordered steak and eggs, the steak was tough to chew, asked for over easy eggs, they were well done hardly any yolk. Toast was cold and had to ask for butter which took forever. Why do you constantly have to ask for a refill for water, yet they want to push the drinks which by the way was a glass full of ice, expensive ice!
Good food and kid friendly
We went to Hemingway's for the first time tonight. The main course took an hour and a half to come. The sweet waitress kept apologizing. Apparently, the kitchen missed the order. People were being served and they were leaving... we were still there waiting. Finally, a guy came over, didn't introduce himself, manager? Owner? Not sure. He had an attitude and said he took two beers off the bill. Not a meal, nothing else. Other patrons around us were shocked. First and last time for us. So many other places in the area to choose from. The very attentive waitress deserves to work in a nicer environment, from what we could see.
Never again!!! I went to “A Night with Christopher Allen the Medium†and what a total disaster. The ticket read “doors open at 6:30†meanwhile the establishment barely let us sit down by 7:00. While we waited, the diners were able to get a close up of my a** in their face while they were eating their dinner. Why have a mob of people standing while people are trying to eat?! Second, the idea of a buffet is nice but have your staff serving the food to have the line moving. It
Went to dinner at Hemingways last nite Saturday evening, at 7:30 pm. First we were greates by s befuzzled reception and couldn't find our reservation but plenty of open tables in the restaurant. Then after we sat down, ordered drinks and looked at the menu, we were told that the stuffed clam appetizer was unavailable (but that it wasn't really good anyway), and the pretzel appetizer was not available. Now she get into the main courses. The pot roast was gone and maybe 3 shorts ribs were available. Then she checked and those 3 short ribs were eaten already. I find it appalling that a restaurant would run short on these items especially on a Saturday nite. The waitress said I don't work in the kitchen and the chef does the ordering. Nobody is blaming the waitress. And as a side note, the manager was walking around and never did he come over to apologize to us for this. That would have been an appropriate courtesy. We paid our bar bill and left. Will I go back to Hemingways-do pigs fly.
Went for post funeral luncheon. The food and staff were great. The salmon was best I've had in a long time
Great food! Super accommodating to our 15+ party. Didnt really have a kid friendly menu. My daughter and I shared a burger and fries so that worked out for us. Definitely a great atmosphere. Service was A+
Great food. Friendly and accommodating service. Tha flat iron steak is smooth and flavorful. The cedar plank salmon was seasoned and cooked to perfection. You can order roasted Brussels sprouts or green beans, both of which are prepared just right!
Had a large group of 18 people. Should have been good to have to round tables, instead of 3 long tables. The setup was not good to talk to people. Waitresses were very good. The food they had for brunch was good, but could have been better.
