SEAFORD BAGELS IS BETTER!!! Took 25 minutes to make an egg sandwich because of the slow service. At seaford bagels, there is a crowd out the door and one person making the sandwiches, yet they still manage to make my sandwich in five minutes. There needs to be more order at this place and better customer service.

My family and I have been regulars at L&E. The bagels are usually nice and warm which is nice. My favorite has always been the super egg (egg everything) and the egg bagel with bacon bits. They also have really great egg sandwiches.It can get very busy on weekends in the morning and the place is small so the line can sometimes get out the door so plan accordingly! Worth the wait and the crowd.

Best bagel store in wantagh except I love the bagels at wantagh bagels too. So if you’re north you gotta come here. If you’re south wantagh bagels can be good but l love L and E. Town bagel cannot compare.

Their normal bagels are good, but man their flagels are hard as a rock! Every-time I get them they're extremely difficult to bite into. Of course it's a different texture because they're flattened bagels, but it shouldn't be that hard. I get one once in awhile hoping for a different outcome, but it's the same each time.

Genuinely surprised that there are any bad reviews for L&E. My family has only gone to L&E for the 30 years that we have lived in the area. Anytime I have met up with friends who want breakfast, I bring bagels from L&E and every time they say they are the best bagels they have ever had... and that is from fellow Long Islanders. The pricing is fair and the employees are normally very kind. When we go we often have to tell them to do light cream cheese because they use so much. I genuinely feel bad for the people who had bad experiences because I have not once in 30 years had a problem with this place. Great tasting bagels that stay soft for a few days.

We used to live in Wantagh and every time I come back to Long Island we stop and get bagels. This was our “go to” bagel store and have not been disappointed in 20+ years.
Oh Yelp, you've failed me again. I'm not going to sit here & tell you these were the worst bagels I've ever tried, but boy were they close. They were nice enough people, the price was reasonable in the current climate, everything was accurate, but the consistency of these bagels was just terrible. The inside was unbelievably firm, almost like biting into an old baguette and the flavor was completely lacking. This coupled with a truly lousy iced coffee leaves return highly doubtful.

these bagels were nasty lol i ordered a poppy seed bagel with cream cheese they gave like no cream cheese and the bagels had an off taste. only been once will never be back again.

Awful service, young kids have no idea how to toast or put cream cheese on bagels. Very slow. Took 20 mins for 3 bagels with cream cheese. I won't ever go back.
