This local Indian gem has been a consistent hit for me and my family for years !! Food is amazing and never disappoints! Literally everything is made from scratch you can tell and I've been to plenty of Indian restaurants and I'm telling you this is some of the best and when it comes to service 5 star! I can't say enough about this place must try! The sit down portion of the place is rather small I have dined in but I do mostly takeout.
My recent and first experience was horrible. We had buffet lunch. It was cold and felt stale. Even water tasted weird.

Honestly pains me to write this. I've loved Lazzat for many years, always was flavorful and had great service eating in and for takeout. Unfortunately the last 4 or 5 times my partner and I have ordered takeout the dishes have been wildly inconsistent. We understood there might be different cooks on a Tuesday vs a Friday but it seems dishes change quality and flavor even on a day-to-day business. I don't even want to go as low as 3 stars but I have to just bring attention to this recurring issue. We'll be back (not soon but eventually) & I'll be happy to delete this review when the consistency recovers.

This has been our favorite Indian food place for over 9 years. I am so sorry to write a bad review, it took a lot of consideration for me to do this, because I never want a business to go under, but we just spent $50 on mediocre to bad food. Chicken tika masala was lukewarm tasteless and watery, the Rogan Josh was warm. Seems like the food is frozen and reheated in the kitchen.The old owners gave a choice of naan or rice with a dish, when the new owners started charging for naan, we hesitated because we found it in poor taste, but this place always had good food, well…not anymore. Sorry Lazat, you just lost a 9 year customer. Don’t bother to apologize because I read your other apologies on Google months ago for the same dish and your food is still just as bad.

The worst meal we ever eatWe ordered chicken shish kabab and tandoori rotiWe waited 35 min for get that even there is no line . After 35 min later we gotOur order and when we started eating it was burning our mouth and throat , we order regular kabab .4 people we were eat and everybody got sick after eating that bad too spicy kabab .We called the store they said it is regular kabab .It is not regular spicy though.That poor customer/food service got from them

I would never recommend this place anymore.a worst meal I’ve ever had from there and it was a $90 orderThe only thing off of the whole order was the bread that was hot. Everything else was cold and watery. Chicken tiki masala was horrible, watery cold no flavor no taste or such a shame this restaurant went that bad.At the bottom here they want you to recommend dishes I wouldn’t recommend nothing and it’s just plain simple, horrible

The environment and staff is very friendly . The quality of food is v good everything is freshly cooked.
Worst food ever I had in my life . Biriyani was disgusting meat test was like just steamed. Curry was not cooked properly and service was horrible.

Amazing experience at this restaurant, its my 3rd time going there and love their food as always. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Biryani, and rice pudding. Everything was great in taste, nicely cooked and Naan was well done as asked. Definitely going back and definitely recommended

We order small tray boneless chicken biryani today. Worst biryani with no masala, burned chicken cubes not even proper salt. It was like you eating colored basmati rice. I spoke to new owner and made him aware of the poor quality food. I just throw away 50 dollars on it . Chicken kebab were good. I hope owners make necessary change to make quality food.

This has been my go to for Indian food for a few years. The last time I ordered, the food was not good. It was very greasy and lacked flavor. I decided to write it off as a bad batch. I ordered about a month after and unfortunately the food was the same. Sauce was watery and greasy, rice was bland, I'm sure the dessert was spoiled. I don't know if it's a different chef, new owners, etc., but please check the quality of what you are selling people. It didn't even taste like chicken curry. I won't be ordering from here again.
