The food was excellent as always. However, we were really surprised to have a bad experience with the service because typically this location is on the ball. It felt like we were inconveniencing the server by asking for simple items. For example, more water and salsa. We got pushback when we asked and when it finally arrived then they wouldn't ask if we needed chips. Additionally, the server was sitting near the bar right by our table texting or having conversations with the bartenders as we were sitting needing things. In the past a manager would ask how everything went, and this time they didn't. Hope this doesn't become a trend because we typically love this location.

I ordered tamales , they were terrible and dry. Definitely not home made. The rice and beans were bland . Paid $35 for an order of tamales platter and 2 corn tamales on the side and it was a total waste of money.

The place is very nice and welcoming. Good service and nice latin music to hear. The meal was very good and also the drinks. Definitely recommended bit make reservations because the place does get full during peak hours.

This place was awesome! The food was seriously so delicious, a little on the pricier side but it’s definitely authentic and high quality food. We sat near the kitchen and it was fun seeing/hearing the staff jamming to music and just having a good time. Can’t wait to go back ?

I grew up on Long Island but I’ve lived in San Antonio for the past 5 years (basically little Mexico) Just moved back to LI and we went here for dinner. A. Service was TERRIBLE but that might just be the server. B. The food was giving nothing at all. Nothing Mexican about this at all, so salty, not even close to “authentic” as they claim. Good if you want basic non authentic interpretation of Mexican food. It’s so loud you cant even have a conversation. Margarita is all sugar! So overpriced for the below par food we got. Do not recommend unless you just want to drink… and even then it’s just sugar

The place was nice. All the workers were great, except for our waiter. Not sure what his name was though.  But we had to ask for a few things more than once. One of my gests had to ask twice for his drink the other had to ask twice for her water for tea. And then He asked the same person twice what they wanted to order after they already ordered. Kind of weird because they weren't that busy. Would definitely recommend the place and go back. just watch out for that waiter. Lol.

I love Margaritas Cafe. I have been there many times ( as well as the east meadow location ) and i have never been disappointed. Servers are always lovely . They are friendly and attentive . Even on a busy day the servers check in on you and keep water , drinks and chips coming . when i went on Friday it was loud , and that was at 415 in the afternoon . I mean music and people near us lol ! It really had no impact on my meal with my daughter . It was delicious . Her diet is non dairy and gluten free. Mexican food in general offers a lot of options. As the saying goes ...a picture is worth a thousand words! So look at our meal and think hot , authentic , tasty and perfectly executed. I can honestly say i have never ordered a meal i did not like ! Everybody who loves Mexican should try it ! (After posting the pictures i feel like going back tonight )
Service was great. Fish tacos were delicious. Excellent portion size. The rice and beans were seasoned perfectly. Unfortunately there was a kids party going on next to us, so it was very loud. We will be back.

I did not go this time and asked for a vegetable quesadilla to be brought Back for me.The person wrapping it decided to plop the sour cream, guacamole and some kind of red sauce in the container with the hot quesadilla. I was presented with A soggy, barely any cheese quesadilla covered with melted sour cream and grey guacamole. Disgusting. Went in the garbage. Waste of my money. Please train your ppl on acceptable take out packaging! Like I previously stated eating in was very good. I'd think twice about take out though.
