The alleged “buy one get one free” is just one portion divided in to two plates. Pathetic
The food: There are many things on the menu, from salads to burgers, but we all come here mostly for the platters and the gyros. There are many protein options to pick, my favorites are the lamb, chicken, and falafel. I think the meat is always well-marinated and packed with flavors. They also recently added chapli as a protein option, which is a plus. I believe you can also order just the marinated chicken if you want to keep it refrigerated and make it at home (I need to confirm with the employees). There is a variety of toppings to choose, some I don’t see often at other halal places. I like adding hummus, chickpea, cucumber for different textures. Always order an extra pita. The sauces are great as well. Add 1 line of hot sauce if you are calm, add more if you want heat. Green sauce is great!The people: everyone has been very nice and polite whenever I’m here, so overall great energy. They open late too so they deserve the best for keeping it up.The space: Shah’s is mostly a delivery/pick-up restaurant but there are seatings with plenty of room for customers inside. It’s more like a chipotle system for ordering compared to restaurants-style ordering. It gives “we’re a successful halal truck turned restaurant” vibe. It’s simple and that’s what I like about it. This is my go-to place whenever I’m in the area.

10-15-23This place deserves as close to a perfect review as a business could get. First off, the food is prepared right in front of you and the ingredients are on display for you to customize your dish (or gyro sandwich). I've visited a few times and noticed that the store is well lit and kept very clean. Next is the customer service........the guys behind the counter are friendly, patient and respectful. Always service with a smile. I've tried the chicken and rice platter, lamb and rice platter, falafel and rice platter, chicken gyro and a few other sides and they all were very good. Spiced a little on the heavy side (which I like) while providing just the right amount of heat (without being over the top). White sauce is fantastic, but go sparingly with the hot sauce......if you overindulge, your bu#th0le isn't going to like you very much. Prices are very reasonable which is always a plus these days. Lines move pretty quick because these dudes have the assembly line down. I hope they keep up the great work at this location.

Our first time here and we ordered two combo platters. Orders were placed online, and then we went to pick up in store. When we got to the store we noticed the prices posted there were $2.00 less per dish than we paid online. We questioned merchant, and were told that we could have saved the fee if we either called in the order or ordered when we got to the store. This would have been ok if the website stated this policy, but there is no notice of this at all. You don't find out until you get to the store. The portions were decent and the food tasty, although stingy on the meat, but because of this highly deceptive, dishonest pricing disparity, we will not go back. Merchant could have made us whole when we got to the store, but did nothing except tell us to order another way next time. Pretty nervy answer. He should have taken off the fee and made two new customers happy, but chose to do nothing. I get that the fee is not huge, but that's not the point. This was a bad decision by the merchant who should have done the right thing for two new customers.
