Food was alright, workers were quick and attentive but there was this dark green stuff on the cheese of my burger don’t know if it’s supposed to be part of the meal. Place was empty at 10pm if you don’t want a line.

Kids food came out quickly. My kids enjoyed their chicken finger and french fries. I had a red sangria - It was not good. The adult entrees took a long time. Entrees were average.

What an amazing experience my Fiancé and I had. We were looking for a place to check out and after doing a Google search we found Snaps. We took a chance and we are thrilled to add it to our go to places. We will frequent this establishment for sure ???❤️ Zack made our time extra special, great guy and exceptional service???????
We ate at a number of fine restaurants during our ten day family trip to Iceland but Snaps American Bistro was the best. Our family group includes a vegetarian, a non-fish eater and two children and everyone raved about their meals. The service and atmosphere were equally excellent.

The cocktails were VERY good, spicy peach margarita and blueberry lemon drop martini. Very pleasantly surprised at how balanced they tasted. The peach and burrata appetizer was so good. Great blend of tastes with the creamy burrata, sweet peach, arugula, crostini crunch and the hot honey. The crunchy kale salad was also super good and interesting. The kale is air fried or cooked crispy somehow which changes the salad completely in the best way. Very satisfying. The burger was a bit wet and messy which is why I’m giving 3 stars because he was craving a burger hard and this didn’t quite hit but we will be back because I know they’re known for their burgers!!
Parking: There’s a parking lot in the back but it is kind of hard to access. Parking down the side street across wantagh ave would be better.

Took the family to an early dinner on a Sunday. Went around 4pm and we just beat the dinner rush by a whisker. My son got the Snap burger, and I got a JackHammer burger. The wife got the Short Rib Wellington. It was all absolutely delicious. Shorter than average wait for the food to arrive which was refreshing. Food arrived hot. The JackHammer was a 9.8/10. (I substituted the blue cheese for cheddar) My wife almost did back flips out of her chair for the Wellington. My son loved his burger also. Pricing was slightly higher than average for everything but well worth it, and I was happy to pay it. Service was very polite, professional and upbeat. Loved the entire experience. Will definitely be going back to start working my way through the menu.

Cozy local bar/restaurant with tasty appetizers (try the chipotle chicken empanadas) and first rate entrees (the Mac Burger, with pepper jack mac 'n' cheese atop a juicy burger, was a handful). Not too noisy, even at full capacity.
