Best eatery in Wantagh. Not sure when I'll eat something there and not enjoy it, but not anytime soon. Specials nights are fairly priced. The half pound burger is less expensive than a Big Mac. The 3 course meal is $46. And again, anything I've eaten was enjoyable. I feel like I say that a lot, but I am choosy. Yeah I can eat fried cheese somewhere and be happy, but the food here is next level.

They certainly give you plenty of food with your order. We had crispy dumplings, octopus, and chili wings as apps. The dumplings were my favorite. For the main course, I had the chicken milanese, and it was awesome. For dessert, we ordered the coconut bread pudding and the creme brulee (which i had to look up the spelling for). Everything was great, but my absolute favorite was the coconut bread pudding it was fire! The service was also very, very good. The only 2 slightly negative things i would say about this place are, 1. It was a little noisy in there, so not the ideal place for a romantic dinner, and 2, they could give you a little more creme brulee. The spoon hit bottom as soon as it got past the crust. Definitely not a deal breaker, and I would 100% recommend!

Good food the restaurant is a little tight & unless you order the dish of the day it is a little overpriced & even more so if you add a drink or 2 but I do recommend Snaps!

Had the snaps burger and it was amazing. Ordered medium rare and that's how it came. Also well done fries that were perfect. My martini was also great. Highly recommend

Still sitting here at the bar as I type and just finished the best tasting Grilled Chicken Sandwich I have ever had anywhere.Food: Wonderful. Check!Bartender Mike, I think, great guy to have a conversation with.Service: Attentive and very pleasant. Check!Located in a small strip mall but very tastefully furnished with a nice layout and bigger than it seems from the outside.Atmosphere: Welcoming. Check!And no, nobody paid me to say that. Another wonderful meal. We both had Braised Short Rib Wellington and Crispy WonTons. Service and food was excellent as always. SNAPS is one of our favorite restaurants, never disappointed!

Very good food. it tends to have a real gastronomic flare . They have different daily specials for example, save a few dollars on a hamburger without the french fries on Thursdays, things like that. A few interesting and different dishes, but probably what stands out most is just the extra effort they put into certain things like the truffle oil and truffle salt on the french fries. I think what keeps me from giving it five stars is occasionally I get a waiter, who just seems to be phoning it in And does not really want to be bothering, and that pisses me off It is one of those places that could very often be an eight, but once in a while, the poor service drops it down to a five or six and I just hit that kind of stuff

The food is exceptional. We love going for burger night and for weekend brunch. Definitely the best restaurant in Wantagh.

Always enjoy their food and drinks. The staff is super attentive and lets you enjoy your visit. Take out is a good alternative if you still want their great food but cant set up a good time to visit

I have been a fan for the last decade. So this was sad. We sat at the bar our bartender was great. But the food was sad. Gnocchi should be light not dense. They should not be heavy. The Parmesan sauce was watery — barely cooked down. The chicken teriyaki dumplings were under seasoned and the noodles and salad under dressed. My husband had the snap burger said it was good. Just really sad that our favorites are now underwhelming.
