Great experience from start to finish. Food was excellent and they even went out of their way to cook up a custom appetizer for us which wasn’t on the menu. Thought the portions were perfect too. Thanks Taj!

expensive and tasteless food malai kofta made from potato instead of cheese ball dry no taste taste like eating bland rubber jelly malai kofta i really don't understand why some people gave them 5 stars these people doesn't know anything about Indian food .they don't definitely deserve 5 stars the quantity was so less for the money they charge i always go to Diwan in HIcksville i want to try somerthing different i came over here did a take out what a waste of money on top i found metal wire in one of the food.

Wouldn't recommend this restaurant. After we order our appetizers, we were told that they don't have any chicken entres. Ordered drums of heaven and it was just sauce over chicken wings. Naans(breads) were not even fully cooked. How can you mess that up. The other entres were just horrible. Worst Indian food I ever had.

First time there since they opened 4 years ago. Nice restaurant, Tony, the maitre'd, seated us, graciously answered our questions about the restaurant, the menu and took it orders. Or server, Mandy, was pleasant, polite and attentive. Crunchy calamari was excellent. Entree portions (lamb, goat, chicken, shrimp) were generous, well presented and flavorfully spicy with a little heat. We will be going back soon.

The food was great and the atmosphere was clean and super friendly. All of the staff are attentive and they give good menu recommendations. The portion sizes are more generous than other Indian spots. I'd say what sets this place apart is the customer service. Honestly every table around mine remarked how friendly the staff was.

Sometimes Indian food has too much spice and sometimes not enough. The food here was just right. There were 4 of us for dinner, we each had something different and each of us were completely satisfied with our orders. Food was plentiful, staff were all attentive (but not breathing down on us attentive). We all said we would definitely be back.

I love the food at this restaurant. It’s flavorful and plated nicely. For birthdays they will give you a slice of a delicious cake with a sparkler in it & will sing happy birthday. My only complaint is they are very slow. We were seated for 25 min & no one came over. I had to literally call someone over to at least give us water, and order our appet & dinner at the same time so we wouldn’t be there forever. So yes, try the place, just make sure you have nothing else to do that evening.

It was better the first 2 times, the 3rd time we went, one of the dish was undercooked. The peas in a vegetarian curry was hard and crunchy. The flavor was awesome but peas was not cooked. All other dishes were very good. We had 2 appetizers and 2 dishes and a dessert. Service was very good too.
