His name ended up being Marrell (I think) and he might have been the most helpful customer service person I’ve dealt with since before COVID happened. If he’s not a manager he deserves to be. If he is a manager then he deserves his own store. And if that Popeyes is his, then he deserves to be in charge of multiple-Popeyes. Because if he can teach his people skills to the rest of the staff you’re gonna be putting other restaurants out of business.“

Now the atmosphere? Different story. Pull up after dark and it feels like you’re stepping into a rap video without a camera crew. “We got the chopped cheese w/ fries and the mixed chicken & lamb over rice. Both were great. The service was quick and friendly. The price was reasonable for the quality and quantity.
I regret not going to this place sooner, as I live around the corner. I thought it was only fried chicken.

“This is my go to halal spot whenever I head to the masjid here. There operated by Afghans and we'll let's just say the best hospitality of kindness for me. However, it's Newburgh and truly speaking there is just to much chaos everywhere don't know what to expect the slightest bit. So you go in and go out request it to be halal and they'll supply you with your meal. What's mesmerizing is that it's fast food but there has never been a time there soft drinks never tasted out of this world. Mr Khan and I could testify to that over the years there's something quite magically even in this Kenney fried chicken In the worst place meaning location but they have the best pick up halal fresh food for me I like it and the people. The uncles are very nice been knowing of them for a decade.“

“Always delicious. One of the finest eating establishments in the area. Gourmet hamburgers and chicken breasts so delicious there aren't words to describe the delicious taste. And don't forget to order mac n cheese, you won't believe mac n cheese could taste so good. I haven't eaten there food sober yet though so I'm not sure if I'd say the same.“
