cute dinner spot in lake george with a relaxed vibe. we got the risotto, scallop pasta, and ravioli - all super rich and satisfying. great option after a day at the lake or hiking nearby. friendly staff and cozy inside. we walked in and there was plenty of space. home town feel.
The food was quite good, but unfortunately the service didn’t match the quality of the meal. It wasn’t busy, yet our server, Melissa, seemed disengaged. Another staff member actually brought our food, and Melissa never returned to check on us—no offer for additional drinks, no questions about dessert, and not even a quick check-in to see if we were enjoying our meal. She only reappeared after we had completely finished. I’d consider coming back, but I’d definitely hope...
This was our first time since the new cheif took over. I had the black forest chicken. It was outstanding. My wife had the pork Ribeye, which was very, very good. I know I will be going back very soon.
