Had a GREAT experience at Eight X Sand celebrating my anniversary. In my opinion, the best ambiance in the Hudson Valley; the food was excellent, and the cocktails were perfectly crafted. The staff was friendly and welcoming.
8 and Sand is impressive! I am a NYC girl and this place is definitely a place / spot to come if you’re a local or visiting. The drinks are phenomenal! I would definitely order the Capone / Roscoe again. For food the pork belly outstanding! And on the lighter side the Manila clams MUST have!!!! I had the duck ragú as a special again just delicious! The duck ragú, risotto with scallops, shrimp scampi, short rib, tuna tatare, lamb, and Tomahawk are all delicious. The Nigiri, artichoke, oysters, and caviar and bubbles are also mentioned. For dessert, the espresso crème brûlée is highly recommended, along with Jenny's cake. The cocktails are perfectly crafted and phenomenal. Drinks like the lychee martini, pino noir, the daisy, espresso martini, dirty martini, Capone, and Roscoe are all amazing. The staff is friendly and welcoming, providing outstanding service. The service is attentive, with plates timed well and drinks kept flowing. The manager or owner walking around and table touching is a cool touch. Eight X Sand is a spot for locals and visitors alike, offering a premium dinner experience with live music. It is a place to come back to.
