Outside of the spirits being fantastic, the food is not to be missed. Very much not your typical distillery food. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff and a great selection of cocktails, wine, and beer! It’s also just a STUNNING venue.

Coming from Tennessee, I know a thing or two about whiskey (mostly bad experiences), but this whiskey is exceptional. When you taste something truly crafted, you can taste the passion of those who make it. This tastes like the people here love what they do. I will definitely be back. Oh! The food is delicious. I love Thai food and this slaps.

This was among the best distilleries I’ve ever been to and toured. The place is premium priced, but the products are of a quality to match. The owner Joel is passionate, hospitable, and friendly. He gave us a personal tour that was so enjoyable and informative. It became clear to us that this distillery is leading the way in quality and craftsmanship. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I especially appreciated the quality of their gin. I’m not even a particular gin person, but I could immediately tell the difference in quality. After meeting the owner I can confidently say that Tenmile Distillery prides themselves on hospitality and “old ways” quality!
My partner and I just had our second meal at Thai Baan, and wow — it was just as amazing as the first. We moved to Kent, CT from the East Village back in 2020, and while we love it here, one thing we really missed was great Thai food. It’s my favorite cuisine, and Thai Baan totally fills that gap — and then some.
The food is fantastic. The basil fried rice was flavorful and comforting, and the pineapple fried rice (served in a real pineapple!) was not only delicious but such a showstopper on the table. The lettuce cups and spring rolls were fresh, crisp, and so satisfying.
Jason, who runs the front of house (and is the chef’s husband), is warm, welcoming, and keeps everything running smoothly. Service was friendly, fast, and thoughtful — our food came out hot and quick, without ever feeling rushed.
We started at the beautiful tasting room bar, where Corey the bartender made us feel totally at home. Super friendly and knowledgeable — it was a perfect kickoff to the evening.
The space itself is gorgeous — great lighting, great music, just a really inviting vibe. It all made for the perfect birthday dinner.
And on our way out, I happened to run into the chef — such a kind, gracious person. You can taste the care in every bite, and meeting her just confirmed how special this place really is.
If you’re anywhere near Wassaic or northwest CT, Thai Baan is 100% worth the trip. A real hidden gem.

Had a wonderful time last weekend at Ten Mile Distillery. The atmosphere, service and drinks were fabulous. We also had some delicious Thai food from Thai Baan. The property is beautiful and its conveniently located within a short walk from the MNRR (Harlem Line) Ten Mile River Train Station. There is also plenty of parking for patrons that choose to drive there. Jasper my Service Dog Paw Approved the place as well by partaking in the enjoyment with a Ten Mile Distillery Dog Toy I purchased for him.

Just visited this lovely distillery for the first over the weekend and was extremely impressed. The space was stunning - charming wood building, high ceilings and fire place, making its ambiance top notch. So welcoming and warm! The staff - friendly, professional, highly knowledgeable and super attentive. Tom was fantastic and we can’t say enough good words about him and the service he provided.
The drink menu was extensive and drinks made to perfection. There are also wine and beer selections, as well.
The food was spectacular - we had the curry puffs, green Thai curry and Pad Thai - everything was fresh and tasty.
I was so impressed with my first visit and can’t wait to return!
