Wow, what a gem! Who would've thought that there is such fine French cuisine in Waterford. The lamb shank and beef bourguignon were cooked to perfection: falling off the bone levels of tenderness and perfect rendering of fats. The wine selection is also excellent and the staff is very knowledgeable about wine pairings.
We loved our desserts as well, everything is made in-house with fine ingredients. I especially loved the homemade pistachio ice cream with Moroccan pistachios.
Make a reservation! There are only 8 tables and they fill fast.
The food was wonderful, Liz was a fantastic waitress. A gem in Waterford
Absolutely fantastic! We had the escargot in pastry, and I may need to fly back here from Colorado just for that! The beef bourguignon was the best I have ever had! Pleasant atmosphere, and our server, Liz was great! 5 star on everything!
Everything fresh, giant portion size, cosy interior. Of course they speak French. Formidable. Je reviens avec mes amis.
Easily one of the best and most underrated restaurants in the area. I need to try everything on the menu.
Wonderful food. Expertly prepared. A true French gem in our region!
AMAZING delicious French cuisine! This is a high end restaurant with stunningly scrumptious expertly cooked food!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience, start to finish. Great wine selection, savory appetizers, incredible main course, and dessert was delicious! We cannot wait to come back, what a great little gem in Waterford.
There was not a single thing about this spot that I thought could use improvement. Service was great, food was even better, owner is a delight.
As a Frenchman, I felt right at home with French music, extensive wine list. I also the subtle morrocan touch here and there. The fish, loup de mer was cooked to perfection with crispy thin skin. An interesting wine sauce and a hash of artichoke and potato. The atmosphere is warm and cosy, the staff very friendly. Delicious pear and almonds tart. Highly recommended !

We visited from out of town to come here and eat as extended family. I'm French-American and the food was delicious, with inventive takes on French classics. I felt like I had been transported to a small bistrot in France. The service was wonderful, with several servers who were attentive but not overbearing. Between five of us, we split these appetizers: pâté de campagne (homemade!), chestnut-mushroom soup, gruyère soufflé on asparagus and arugula with a saffron-infused vinaigrette (the night's special), and escargot in pastilla. For mains, we had the scallops, branzino, duck, and a special vegan dish prepared especially for my aunt, who had called ahead. For dessert, we split the fondant au chocolate with pistachio ice cream, vacherin (meringue cookies with sorbet and berry sauce), and the tarte bourdeloue -- a classic almond pear tarte. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Albany area.
Great little bistro! Coming up on two years! Go try it and support local restaurants! Never a bad meal here. !
Hands down the best restaurant I've been to in the capital region. The creme brulee was outstanding. Excellent service, atmosphere, and quality.
This is a very special place. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food is exceptional. They do not rush you. You are able to enjoy each course and the company of your dining companions. A truly lovely experience.
This restaurant, tucked away among the buildings of Waterford, is amazing. The four of us each ordered something different, and we all loved our meal. I can't think of a better restaurant in the capital district.
