Always go for the Hibachi experience. The guys who do them are great energy. If we could afford to eat here once a week we would. The yum yum sauce with chicken and fried rice is so good. Let’s not forget if you go for dinner you get soup AND salad as to where if you go for lunch you only get soup OR salad. 10/10 my favorite place to eat

Great food and service. Always a good meal at Ruyi. We had the gyoza, California roll and hibachi with various proteins.

Went with the hole family and we all had a great time eating together. I ordered a bowl of ramen and, personally, that boiled egg was the highlight of the plate. I give the flavor and consistency 10 out of 10. If only I knew how to make those flavorful eggs, my life will be much better 😋

Summary:
1025 Ruyi Japanese Steak House continues to offer flavorful hibachi-style dining in a lively, social atmosphere. While the food and experience remain enjoyable, guests should be aware of recent price increases and automatic gratuity charges for larger parties.

Detailed Review:
Last week, my wife and I joined another couple for dinner at 1025 Ruyi Japanese Steak House, and as always, the overall experience was satisfying. The restaurant maintains its vibrant, high-energy ambiance, especially around the hibachi grills, which makes it a fun choice for group dining or celebratory outings.

The food was consistent with what we’ve come to expect—delicious, fresh, and well-prepared. The chef provided an entertaining performance at the grill, which added to the evening’s enjoyment. From the quality of the meat to the well-seasoned rice and vegetables, every dish was flavorful and satisfying.

However, it’s worth noting that the prices have noticeably increased, which might catch returning guests off guard. Additionally, a gratuity fee is automatically added to the bill for parties of four or more. For transparency, the total for just my wife and me came out to around $90, which included the gratuity and no alcoholic beverages. While the cost is on the higher end, the quality and service still made the experience worthwhile.

Overall, 1025 Ruyi remains a solid choice for Japanese steakhouse dining in the area. Just be sure to review your receipt closely if you’re dining with a group and budget accordingly for the updated pricing.

Food was really good and plentiful! Plates were a bit small so things really crowded but overall good hibachi place. Staff were nice and the place was a good size.

Only downside is that they add an automatic 18% gratuity/service charge even if your party is small (less than 4 people) and they also charge $1 for a split check. A lot of hidden fees which is a bit frustrating. They even charge extra for fried rice and noodles which is uncommon.

It was also extremely loud even for a hibachi place! Couldn’t even hear the people at my table because it was so loud in the room.

Overall good place but may be worthwhile to not sit at hibachi or get it to go with so many fees

This place was alright. The sushi was good, portions were decent, and the place is kinda loud, but I expected as much for a hibachi place. It was kinda pricey tbh. Service was okay. I had to wait a bit to get greeted by my server. The server was nice. Good place to eat.
