My wife, myself, and our 10 year old daughter went to Applebee's Tuesday night for dinner. We were seated at about 620. Our waitress came and took our order. By 7 o'clock still no food . Our waitress came back and told us she forgot to turn in our order.730 our food comes to the table and is cold . We had already waited an hour and didn't have time for them to warm.it up. Food was decent even though it was no longer hot but the service was awful.

I went today and I had to leave. I didn't bother to order anything. Imagine entering a food establishment and not smell food, the restaurant smell more like sweat... and plz tell the waiters to take more pride in clean the tables, use things that has good scent.

we had dinner at applebees the other night and it was a male server and he was SO bad. like genuinely so bad. he walked by our table 12 times over like 20 mins before remembering he never brought my husband his drink 😠and it wasnt busy when we went And my food wasnt good and it was cold

Was there not even 5 mins ago with my husband and kids. My kids got their food and after 30 mins we were waiting for our food and never got it so I paid for my kids food and left.. now I can excuse if it was busy but it’s not so whatever is going on with the staff it needs to be fixed cause not only did we sit waiting but our drinks were empty and we didn’t get checked on until 30 mins later when we get told it wasn’t made or something like that… but how when it wasn’t even compted off the receipt so that means that it wasn’t even put in to the system to begin with. 9/10 wouldn’t recommend!

Went with my mom and sister. My sister ordered chicken she said it tasted slimy so she gave it to our mom. Both of them got sick after eating it. I ordered steak rare and got well done sent it back and it came back again well done. I ate it and didn't complain the second time. That night I got sick also. I work in the food industry and this place has food safety concerns. Will not be returning.

A couple of years ago I would have rated Applebee's lower, and I wish I could give a half star because I think there is a real difference between 3 and 4 star restaurants.
At my last visit it was clear Applebee's is making an effort to improve the quality of theor food. As a vegetarian it uses to be impossible to find anything to eat on their menu. However they have since added Impossible burgers to the menu which gives folks who prefer not to eat meat more options.
The Impossible burger I got was prepared well and delicious. At $14 it's not cheap, but also worth the money. The fries were well seasoned and delicious as well
Service is always good here, however the decor could use some updates.
Overall I would give 3.5 stars!

Ordered food for pick up. 8 dinners in all. Drive across the city to pick it up. Restaurant seemed so unorganized. When we finally got our food we headed home. My dinner was supposed to come with 2 sides but there were none. Steaks were very overdone. Just not a great experience

Terrible. Go to McDonald’s. Food and service is better. Salad had ice cubes in it? Tenders were the size of the chicken selects you used to get at McDonalds in 2010. Absolutely awful across the board. Do not come here.

Our initial greeter was great and very accommodating, Unfortunately our wait staff were rude, we had to keep reminding them for our cutlery and our orders and then we had our desserts pitched across our table with the cutlery covered in sauce. Applebys? Craplebys more like.

Okay. I'll start this with I'm not a "karen" at all...ever! We made the stop today and had been driving since 7am from virginia, heading back to Canada. Walked in and the place was dead. We were offered a high top from a host, I asked if we could have a booth. We were told no. We took a table and then sat there and watched the next 3 tables be sat in booths. I'll say, I've been a server for 20+ years...if not reserved seat then where they want to be. Food was okay but restaurant really needs an update and the smell out of the carpets

Asked about a menu item, and after the description, told the bartender I didn't want it. Told her what I wanted instead. My husband gave her his order. When our food came out, they brought the item I said I didn't want, and the item I actually ordered. Some food was burning hot, and some seemed to have been sitting out for 30 minutes before bringing it to the table.
Luckily, we were only visiting this location in New York. Glad our local Applebee's in Indiana takes better care of us.
