We went on a Wednesday night which is pizza special night. It was very busy when we arrived. The hostess was running, but was able to seat us quickly. We ordered the calamari steak as an appetizer. It comes breaded with a chili sauce. The chili sauce was right out of a bottle and the preparation of the steak was nothing special.
I ordered Mediterranean seafood for my main course with the haddock, scallops and shrimp. All were overcooked. Our server took it off of our bill and handled the situation with grace. This was not the only issue with our food. We also ordered a manicotti, The edges were burnt and it seemed as if it sat under a heat lamp for quite some time.
I also thought I would try one of their drink specials, the Maple Old fashioned. It's okay at best, it was not well mixed and poorly balance.
Since I ended up not enjoying my main meal I decided to try dessert. The tiramisu was quite tasty and I would try that again. We also ordered a cannoli. The cannoli was not filled all the way through and only had three little chocolate chips.
Our server was very polite and handled the situation well.
Overall, the experience was quite lacking and disappointing, especially for such an amazing piece of Watertown history.
My dining experience was subpar at best. Upon our arrival the host was on the phone and did not acknowledge us. The bartender was short and quite rude yelling across the room to my husband are you here for a Togo order. When he responded to him we would looking for our party that was already seated he just shrugged his shoulders . At the table our server was ready to take our order before we had even looked at the menu. The food was fast. The portion was a bit small for the price but it came out hot so I can't complain. As we were finishing up the meal our server checked back multiple times trying to cash us out almost rushing us. This was not how I wanted to finish my meal.
Excellent food!
Such a great place 😁
Best gluten free pizza, not just in Watertown, in any restaurant I’ve ever tried. Also excellent service, good prices and nice and clean establishment!
We got a first timer right here my Lord! 🗣
We ordered Reg Roni & Cheese—it was good. That's the review 😆
Food is great. Servers are exceptional. What makes the place a 5-Star review is the family atmosphere. We’ve been a few times and every time the servers and other customers have been wildly friendly to my family and I. Highly recommend.

We celebrated my mom's 70th birthday at Arts Jug, and it was absolutely amazing! The food was excellent, with everyone raving about their meals, and the atmosphere was perfect for such a special occasion. The staff were top-notch—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. Thank you, Arts Jug, for making my mom's birthday so memorable!
I would highly recommend Arts Jug for your special event!

What can I say….this local staple has been around for a very long time for a reason. Their pizza and garlic gnots *chefs kiss*. I live in Colorado now and am reminded how good this eatery truly is.
