my husband bought me a birthday cake from here and it turned out great. it was surprisingly moist and delicious as well as the cake being exactly what he described over the phone. 10/10 recommend for a classic heart shaped cake.

I ordered carrot cake cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday last Friday for Saturday. I realize it was a short notice order, and I could have been told that it was too short of notice. However, I was told they would have enough “leftover” from a carrot cake wedding cake that was being made that would be enough for a dozen cupcakes. So I went ahead with the order. When I got home and we were about to eat the cupcakes, I then noticed how small they actually were. These were about half the size of their normal cupcakes. I was charged for a dozen, when these should have in fact been a half dozen. I reached out on Monday about the situation and asked for a partial refund as these really should have been sold as a half dozen. Monica responded back to me and informed me that it was a short notice order, that they do have a large size cupcake but that was what was available at the time. No apology, no offer of a refund. I absolutely would not have ordered these and paid full price with a tip if I had known I would receive half sized cupcakes. Disappointed, as I have had their cakes/cupcakes before and they have always been very good, but that is just not good business practice. I will no longer give them my business based on this experience.

Hi MonicaI just had an 83rd surprise birthday party hosted by my children on September 30th. I was to be queen for a day and your queen cake did not disappoint. The cake looked like a velvet cushion with an wearable crown on top. The table setup was gorgeous which included fancy cupcakes and pastries for all my guests. Everything was beautiful and delicious. My daughter said you were very friendly and accommodating. Thank you so much for making my day so elegant and special. Joan S.

The eclairs and the napoleons were very good. I was disappointed in the carrot cake. It was very dry, didn’t taste like a carrot cake and very expensive. For now I will stick with the other pastries.

First time actually checking out the bakery. Smells amazing upon arrival. It is very small and cluttered as well. The cheesecake was definitely not great, it was rubbery. My husband raves about the Lobster Tails, i however think the almond flavor should have been replaced with vanilla. The cake balls were not good, couldn’t even get the kids to eat them. Very rich and soggy. The one thing that I would buy again was the sugar cookies she had wrapped on the counter in packs of three on the counter. She seemed thrown off to have customers which I also found weird. Not a bad little place. Seems hit or miss

First time I bought some pastries ..though they were tasty, they were completely misrepresented..everyone has their own way of making things, but it should still be able to be recognized as what it’s supposed to be. Second and final purchase was a special order…a ridiculously overpriced German Chocolate Cake..I paid $51 for a chocolate cake! Upon contacting the owner, she couldn’t care less about gaining a new customer and simply said..sorry you didn’t like it..that’s his I make it! All of her creams taste the same..her cakes are dense. I’m from New York City and with her disregard for her customers , her high prices and her lack of baking skills, she’d be out of business in a month. Consider going to culinary school 101…if you make pastry cream, try not drowning it in amaretto
I'm gonna give a honest review. I was let down with the size and taste of the cupcake I got for my birthday. The cupcake was a standard size cupcake I could've made at home. The frosting was overly sweet. I was also told that the cupcake was filled with strawberry. Which it looked like jam which was smeared under the frosting there was no filling. I will not be going back here. I honestly have had better cupcakes from the bakeries at the big box stores. Perhaps the cakes and other baked goods are of better taste and quality....

We were able to communicate through email since I was in North Carolina while we were planning the party.Europe Cakes worked with me to develop a custom size for the amount of people we expected at the party. The cake looked good and was delicious. The frosting had just the right amount of sugar so it wasn't too sweet.I definitely recommend ordering from here. Thanks for a great cake.

Europe Cakes does not disappoint! I ordered a birthday cake for my 12 year old son and gave really no instruction on a design. I was expecting to pick up a rather plain cake, but was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful design she implemented on her own with very few details. I know it will be delicious as we’ve had her cakes before.
