Friede's is a classic little diner that feels and looks like you're in a railroad diner car from the 40's complete with entertainment. You'll want to sit at the bar to enjoy the show put on by chef Bill. He's a funny guy and an outstanding short order cook. The food is great and the portions are large, so you'll see plenty of regulars there.

Love this place! I work in the restaurant business but when I'm not working I eat here. The home-made bread is the best! Atmosphere, classic, old school diner. Service is top notch. Sit for awhile and you will see why she has a very loyal following.

It was my first time eating here, and I was truly happy. The food was great (I had biscuits with sausage gravy), and everyone else's breakfast was good as well. Small, wouldn't recommend for large groups, but a friendly old school diner. Worth the stop, we will visit again.

Good spot for breakfast. Coffee, omlette and hashbrowns were great. Staff is a lively bunch with fun interaction with the regulars. The diner is old and shows it in wear but clean and comfortable.

2 year update! The food is still incredible. There are highchairs for the new family member since our last trip. The grilled cheese was so amazing, I wish I'd ordered like 4 ?Amazing, quaint tiny restaurant. I got an egg, cheese and bacon bagel and hash brows (shredded and fresh) and my boyfriend got the stuffed french toast, 4 slices of homemade bread turned french toast, stuffed sandwich style with cheese and choice of meat (he got ham). Both our meals were amazing. Staff was kind. You can see the chef cooking and they follow COVID-19 cleaning protocol incredibly well. Coffee was weak, but all diners have that. Will 100% be returning!

Old school diner. Went for breakfast. Food was delicious, prices are reasonable, service very friendly. The bread for the toast is amazing. Be aware it’s cash only.
