During my initial visit to JRECK’s Subs, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service provided by the staff. The establishment was immaculately clean and well-maintained. I opted for the Italian cold sub, and the ingredients were fresh, resulting in an outstanding culinary experience. I highly recommend JRECK’s Subs to anyone seeking a delightful and satisfying meal.

Line was really long which gave me the impression that the subs would be good. When they make them they slide them along a long counter that doesn’t get cleaned up. They use the same knife on every sub that goes across the counter and what falls out of the sub before yours ends up on the bottom of yours. They did not wear gloves and they handled spoons, spatulas, meats, cheeses. At one point the spatula fell into the mayo and they had to fish it out with a bare hand. I made the mistake of ordering a tuna sub, to which I was told, “I believe the tuna was made today.” I was in there at 5:30 pm. I got my sub to go, traveled 2.4 miles to my destination and got the sub out and the bread had sogged all up. The main reason I’m writing this is because now I’m dealing with food poisoning and I’ve been rolled up in a ball since 7 pm (now it 11:30). And yes there have been multiple bathroom trips. Fortunately I have some anti nausea medicine that has helped. Would not recommend

Jrecks on Arsenal St. is the best one. If I want a fast food burger, I get a cheeseburger sub. Love it, and the gals who work there are wonderful. I can't wait until they make the move across the street under the new company. Hope it'll be as good.
The Mozzarella sticks are the best

Jrecks has always been my favorite of the sub chains, although I think it's a local upstate ny chain. I don't know why, I think it's the bread being fresh. Anyway, the sandwiches are always spot on. Beats Subway by a mile and beyond
Very nice people to deal with when you go there. Make you feel like home and of course the subs are great!
