She's an aging dining area inside, but it adds to the old-school vibe of this iconic sub shop. Friendly service and excellent food! This is a must try for visitors to the area. Be sure to add the mayo, mustard, oil, and shakers for a true Jreck sub experience! Bread so soft it melts in your mouth (figuratively).
My friend and I went there try their "Sub of the Month" for March, which had corned beef, melty cheese, sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing. We also ordered the App of the Month, breaded cheese ravioli. The service was quick and friendly. The subs were good, but they only had 3 kinds of breads to choose from. We enjoyed the ravioli but disagreed on the marinara sauce they came with. He liked it, but to me it tasted sour. I will still go back here again.
Love this location. All locations feel like a slice of history but NOTHING in the dining room has changed from when I was 7 years old (I'm 29 now)A few bad experiences always has me skeptical to go to a jreck subs but generally it's not like that.The closers I had the pleasure of ordering from tonight were hilarious and relatable.
