We sat on the outside porch with our dogs by the river and it was more invigorating than relaxing but between my sister and i ordering mimosas and our food it was actually a fair price! Lower than we expected for sure. The parking lot is pretty big and theres a small trail leading off the right side of the pub. Overall, pretty good food, service and drinks.

Beautiful place but very bad experience, and I never complain. French onion soup was abysmal, and my friends food wasn't great either. Server was pretty short, seemed annoyed.

What a total waste of a nice space. Beer isn't good. Server kept calling me "sweetheart" couldn't drink my beer fast enough to get out of there. Maggies wasn't the greatest but it was a heck of lot better than what's there now.

Our experience was great and this was our first time here! My mom and I went for lunch. My favorite was the perch and corn chowder. I could have eaten that all day. My mom had the pulled pork sandwich and said that it was very good, it was filling and not dry. The fish tacos and fries were delicious. The fries were cooked to perfection. The service was great. The lady who served us was so sweet! Overall we had an awesome time there. 😇

i’m giving it a 3 stars cause i’ve been coming to this place for a very long time & i don’t know who decided to change the menu & just mess up the entire food options. no ranch fries? apple cider jerk instead of caribbean jerk?? who sits here & just makes up these unusual things. duck nachos?? something gotta give with this new menu. the menu was fine before & i just get hit with the fact of the new menu. definitely going to mess up business with this menu. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE the service with the workers are AMAZING especially ashley & michelle. they make the experience better since the food can’t be anymore. they always make me feel welcome & are fast.

Wanna start by saying the food was decent, except for my wife's, burger was dry as Iraq in the summer. Beer was good. And our waitress was awesome considering the conditions she had to endure.
Now, I just wanna say management, you need to do better. Ya'll had one lady being the bartender AND only waitress in the place for most of the time we were there. Probably 15 guys at the bar and a bunch of tables with about 28 people. This poor lady was running around trying so hard to make sure everyone was taken care of.
I heard the guys at the bar complaining about the lack of service as well as people in the dining area. Hire more employees and stop screwing the hardest working employee over. Otherwise you'll soon find yourself employee-less and trying to put that fire out by yourself. Best of luck.

Even though we went here kind of late There were very few diners, the service was still excellent! My husband got the fish and chips dinner and the fish came out looking like it really just come out of the river right next to us! My daughter and I also decided to try the chicken riggies. The flavor was great, but for us it was just a bit too spicy! My husband decided to try it too and it was even too spicy for him! However I still do recommend it for anybody who likes a lot of spice and flavor for their meal! You won't be disappointed! When you do go it is in a 'warehouse looking' district, so from the outside, at least at night, we weren't sure we were in the right place. Inside was really cool looking though! I do like the fact that they had a bar area that was separate from the dining area. So people who wanted to watch the TVs and being that kind of a setting could be in that area. There was a separate dining area for families/ people who wanted to eat and talk and you really couldn't hear the TVs as much. It also seemed they had an upstairs area for maybe parties? The other thing I liked was all one floor and they did have a ramp type area that I could easily manage with my cane. The restrooms were also on the main floor.
Wheelchair accessibility: You probably could get a person in a wheelchair in fairly easily as there was a ramp coming up to the door that I managed easily with my cane. The doors looked wide enough for a wheelchair to pass through. I cannot speak to the restrooms for wheelchair accessibility as I did not use them. The main dining area is on the first floor and everything is tables with chairs that can be easily removed.

Wings were raw in the middle....took $1.50 off our bill for it!!! Other item came out wrong also. Staff was not understanding and blamed the new menu as the reason. We won't be back.

I was pleasantly suprised with their creative and diverse menu. The Duck Nachos were fabulous! Don't let the idea of blueberry salsa deter you. It was the perfect balance of sweet salty and spicy! Absolutely wonderful! I can't wait to go back and explore some of their other tantalizing menu items. Oh, and wow French fries out of this world. Perfectly crispy outside with a beautifully creamy center. I'm not generally a fan of fries but these are next level.
Their interior decor is dated and in a bit of disrepair but their food was bang on!! Give this place a try!

The 1812 on the River is located in a multi-story building overlooking the Black River. The temperature was in the 30s. However, if the weather had been better, you could have enjoyed the deck overlooking the Black River. They have wings, pizza, fish tacos, shrimp and grits, and burgers. They had a Wednesday special for $0.75 wings. You could get flavors in orders of five. The apple cider jersey wings were really good with sweet heat and the apple cider flavor. The Buffalo wings had good heat. The fries were fresh and crispy. The fish tacos were also a favorite at the table. The service was great, and the food came out quickly for a large group. It's definitely worth a visit to Water Town.
