1812 on the River by 1812 Brewing Co.

It was kind of chilly in the dining room. They have a big industrial fan that was on, but it really wasn't necessary. The waitress was eating in between coming to our table and was constantly wiping her hands off or chewing food. The food was okay, but not spectacular. The fries were kind of soggy.

We had a decent time, but it just wasn't a memorable experience.

Not the type to leave these, but for the price of the place I expect at least satisfactory food. Went with a friend and ordered the brisket- completely unseasoned and tasted like nothing more closely than the smell of a porta-john. Appetizers took forever and came at same time as the entrees. Fish and chips was slightly better but was largely hollow- had more batter than fish. This was the second chance after a similarly disappointing experience. New ownership did not do the trick for this place.

We went out for lunch. My partner's mother had the Adirondack salad which she has gotten numerous times before and loved.. My partner and I got fish tacos.
We had to share our tacos with his mom as she was very unhappy with the salad and expressed this to our waitress pushing the barely eaten salad away . She asked for some fries and my partner and I shared a taco a piece with her so she had something for lunch. The fact that no action was taken regarding her expressed dissatisfaction with the salad and request for fries as a substitute as well as being charged for both is very poor customer service based on satisfaction. Perhaps we should have been more insistent on having the issue addressed, but the waitress was young timid and we did not feel anything further than repeatedly expressing dissatisfaction would be appropriate.

The comedy show upstairs at 1812 on the River last night was awesome. Comedians Kyle Martinez, Colin Armstrong & Dan Frigolette were hilarious. The food, service & atmosphere was 10/10. I got the salmon, it was delicious & presented beautifully. The owners were so nice & the party continued to the bar after the show. Very fun crowd. Highly recommend.

This place is a gem I grew up in the south and the BBQ was on point especially the pork belly it melts in your mouth and the service was excellent we will definitely be back again!!!

Sat on the back patio with the dog enjoying a beautiful sunset over the river. Pizza was good, and my wife had the best fish tacos she ever had.

First time to this establishment. It's located right along the Black River with outdoor, riverside seating available.

The table was a bit sticky.

The server was attentive, but not hovering.

Food was good. Had the brisket sandwich and a half salad (the half salad was the size of most normal salads). The brisket had a nice fat content and was not chewy at all.

Had the fish fry on August 30 and it was the WORST I ever had. Greasy, fish did not fall apart but rather was rubbery, overcooked. I did not know it was possible to ruin a fish fry BUT you guys for certain proved me wrong. Terrible. And to make matters worst, the waitress had an attitude. Will NEVER be back.
