We had a great experience. We stopped I, were seated promptly and given the perfect amount of time to look at the menu. The food came quickly. It was delicious! Cam was our server and we liked him.

I ordered a bacon blue burger. The sauce and everything was delicious. My son ordered a normal cheese burger. He didn't care for it. I was surprised until I tried his. The meat was actually not that good. I couldn't tell on mine with how strong the blue cheese was. The fries came out cold, but the waitress did get us fresh ones immediately and apologized. The people seem really nice, but the burgers really aren't that great. I don't know if I'll go back. I will say all I tried was the burgers.
I tried it again. This time I got pizza. It's good. I wasn't blown away, but it was alright. I wouldn't order it again. So my overall would be, this place has ok food. It's very pretentious. I might go back for a change of pace, but it's not a place I'd choose for being amazing.

We used to love going to the original hops spot in sackets harbor. A year or so ago we went to the Syracuse location and thought it was good. We went to Watertown and were blown away by how NOT good it was. Our simple order seemed to take forever on a rather slow night. The potatoes (fries) were unfortunately cold and undercooked. The burger was good but not enough to make up for the fries. The quality of the food was there but the preparation and execution was definitely not. We really wanted to love this place and go out of our way to find locally sourced foods and especially love supporting restaurants who do the same but unfortunately it wasn’t a hit for us.
Honestly, AJ and Leandra were the best servers I’ve ver had. The food was fantastic and highly enjoyable. They were both so attentive at the bar and at my table. They brought a light and humor to my time at the Hops spot. 10/10 service and food!

Everything was yummy! We started with Korean fried chicken with a spicy slaw. I had poutine with beer cheese and bacon. No gravy. Can you call a poutine if it doesn't have gravy? Anyway it was good. And hubby got a burger on a pretzel roll and with bacon. Everything was pretty much slammin'!
