Wow! I wasn't expecting to clean my plate the way I did. I had oxtails with rice and peas and plantains & my husband had curry goat with white rice and cabbage. When I tell you this restaurant is really authentic, the plate set up was extremely pretty and when i tell you i only waited maybe 10-15 minutes to be served. 10/10 for sure. Returning is a must and I'd be a fool not to

Best beef patties in town! If you haven't tried them yet, you're missing out! I also highly recommend the fried chicken special—hands down, the best chicken I've had in Watertown. For anyone local, you know how hard it is to find a great spot to eat, and this place definitely delivers!

We ordered the curry chicken and jerk chicken with all the sides. I’ve been to Jamaica several times and all over the Caribbean. I know good food….this is first class authentic Jamaican cuisine! Love, love, loved it! Melted in the mouth and filled with delicious flavors!

This was my first plate of Jamaican food since leaving the South. I’ve been contemplating on trying it since they first opened. Let me just say, first, the young lady behind the register was smiling and greeting me as soon as I entered the restaurant. My food was ready on time and fresh. I didn’t make it out of the parking lot! This plate was sooooo delicious ? I highly recommend and will definitely be back! In a town where most of the food lacks flavor, tropicx is the place to go!

The food is hot and delicious, especially the curry goat. Be prepared to wait 45 minutes for ackee & saltfish, which is my son's favorite. I'm looking forward to that wait time disappearing as business increases.
