I am the landlord for the owner’s deli, The Cobblestone Lunch Shoppe, in Albany. The owner has been delinquent on rent payment for many months in hopes of stiffing us as their lease comes to an end.
Hoping this is helpful for customers to know the people behind the business. Breach of contract, zero remorse.
It’s a shame. They were otherwise a fantastic tenant and the food itself is fantastic.

The Trestle Restaurant & Pub offers great food and service in a shiny, clean setting. The extensive menu has something for everyone, including a highly recommended corn beef & cabbage special. The restaurant is a charming, old school place with tasteful and charming decor, featuring a wide open dining room and an active bar with TVs. Recently, guests have enjoyed finding a great pizza with fresh dough, flavorful margarita toppings with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil, as well as huge, crispy wings that are both flavorful and satisfying. Live music on weekends adds to the inviting atmosphere. The staff is attentive and friendly, making guests feel welcome and like regulars. The food is fresh, tasty, and portions are generous, often beyond one person’s appetite. Despite some minor service hiccups, the overall experience remains positive, and many look forward to returning.
