Bay Vista Taqueria Food Truck and Catering

I’ve had their food truck twice now and both times it just tastes like something from the frozen food section.

Easily the best taco truck that I have given my patronage to.

I ate at their food truck last weekend while at an event at the convention center in downtown. The menu was severely limited with only about five choices. Most people in my group got the fish tacos, including me. They were not bad tasting but so mid and bland that I could barely make it through. Piece of fried fish (it was definitely freshly fried though certainly previously frozen) on a soggy and cold store-bought corn tortilla with what appeared to me a pre-made thing of slaw. They also didn't have any hot sauce or salsa on the side. The fish tacos basically tasted like fish sticks in sad cold gross corn tortillas.

I understand that it is hard to make a feasible menu for a large event and don't mind the limited choices. It was just that the food was made with so little thought or consideration and with no freshness at all (especially the horrible tortillas).

They seem like good people and I hope they keep going but the fish tacos were Aramark quality.

We cannot say enough great things about Bay Vista Taqueria and their incredible team! They catered our wedding, and the food was nothing short of spectacular. From start to finish, the experience was flawless.

Had the bang bang shrimp tacos from the food truck, with a mango salsa inside and they were very delicious. A few things I would change to make it better at holding up.. the tortillas were obviously not warmed which was a surprise upon picking the taco up. After the first bite it started to rip because it was cold. Also, when adding the slaw to the taco, you shouldn't get so much of the slaw dressing in there.. it all ran out and pooled into the food tray... the amount of liquid was excessive! I still gave 5 stars because the shrimp was bangin and it still was a great tasting taco! ??

Delicious carnitas poblano tacos from Bay Vista Taqueria food truck at Pittsford music festival today. Accommodated gluten free too & absolutely the Best taco ever! I bought 4 to take home for tomorrow.

Bay Vista Food Truck catered a work event for us today. The food was amazing and the turn around time for orders was fast. We had 60'ish people so I was worried how long it would take 1 food truck to service our team (a lot of hungry techs that had just come back from the field) - I was worried for no reason. They were prepared and ready to serve. Would definitely recommend and will use again!

The bay vista taqueria truck was one of the food trucks we contracted for our wedding and I am so happy we chose them. The food was a hit with our guests and we got so many compliments from our friends and family who loved the idea of using food trucks instead of traditional catering. Guests were especially impressed with the guacamole and pork carnitas tacos. Their team is extremely professional, friendly and they communicated well with us before, during and after the event. If you are looking for a casual way to feed guests at your wedding I highly recommend this company!

We originally came across Dave and the Bay Vista team while searching for a food truck for our wedding catering. The food truck had been reserved for another event but Dave said they could do a taco buffet bar instead. This ended up being the greatest blessing in disguise. The planning and coordination beforehand was quick and painless. Dave was easy to get a hold of and was willing to talk through any questions or concerns that we had. On the wedding day, the team had everything running smoothly for both appetizer trays and the dinner service. We received so many compliments on the food! I would highly recommend considering the Bay Vista team for any events that you need catered!

We got a taco bar delivered for a party and it was such a hit! An incredibly easy way to accommodate all food preferences and allergies as everyone could customize their meal completely. They do not scrimp on the toppings! The customer service was also excellent and delivery was on time, hot, and packaged well. Both Dave and his brother were so helpful giving us serving tips and any information we needed. Incredibly appreciated!
