Great casual fare and good service. When I visited, one waitress was serving 7 or so tables and our wait times were still minimal/reasonable. And you can't beat the boathouse atmosphere and views of the bay!
Note that their menu changed in June or July and is much more casual now than before. Check their website before you go.
Vegetarian options: There is a black bean burger and some salad options, but limited options beyond that. Lots of seafood if you partake. Check their menu before you go.

Overall we were dissapointed. We were seated right at the time of our reservation which was a good start. However the table was dirty and I had to wipe it off myself. It looked like the person seating us noticed, but just walked away. The online menu had fresh seafood and several other entrees we were interested in. When we arrived we were given a different menu that excluded many of the entrees we were going to order. The waitress said that the website has not been updated yet. When asked if they had a fresh seafood option, she explained that they did not. They had one steak option, which was the special. When appetizers arrived with the small plates, several had food stuck to them. I tried to get our servers attention and showed her the issue and requested clean plates. She did not return within a few minutes, so I found another employee to help. I pointed this out when she did return just to have her tell me she was busy. When the entrees came out, the server seemed to have no help and had to go back and forth several times to get the food on the table. Not a big deal, but I have seen better teamwork before. Two salads that were advertised with bacon arrived without any. The waitress said the person making salads is new, but then returned to tell us they had no bacon. We asked to return a salad, but then a few minutes later, it was brought back to the table with bacon and an apology (the salads were eventually removed from the bill). The food itself was reasonably good. My beer glass was empty for quite some time. I am used to a server quickly recognizing this and asking if I want another (often before the first is gone). That did not happen, but two of us did order another drink. One came, the other did not (nor was it on the bill). At this point, we pretty much gave up on the service. We had no issues with dessert, which was very good.

Shrimp scampi had zero flavor- no butter, no garlic, nothing. Best part was the shrimp. Server and the location is amazing!!

This may be my first genuine restaurant experience where I was both pleasantly surprised and very disappointed at the same time.As we ordered, we discovered they were out of multiple entrees on the menu (and not a particularly large menu mind you). Then, we discovered they were out of all but two side options. Then when asking for a substitute, we were told there is none but could have an alternative for an up charge. That’s where the disappointment comes in. You wait until a group orders, then tell them a substantial amount of your menu is unavailable, then would still uncharge when your menu is essentially incomplete. All of which could be avoided if you let folks know when they are sitting down what the menu modifications are. Ultimately, the server was nice enough, but the service holistically was lacking.That said, the food is extremely good here. I expect I will visit again, but I will be calling ahead and ensuring I have a full understanding of what I won’t get to enjoy

Went over for the summer bash Friday night! Super yummy food, great DJ, lots of fun!
The staff were super friendly and the food was great. Atmosphere was lovely. Indoors or outdoors it’s a super relaxing place with good food and great service

So disappointing
We took my mom out for her birthday today, may 2024 , Sunday, 3:00 pm. They were out of many items that we wanted to order and the chicken French that we did order was horrible. It tasted like the sauce was watery lemon dish soap.. not as we had experienced in previous years.. I felt bad that it was my mom’s first time there. Do better folks!

Came here around 11pm and the bartender was very engaging and although the kitchen was closed, he was still able to serve us dessert. The key lime pie was decadent. I highly recommend coming into Brody’s. The atmosphere and scenery, located right on the bay is worth the trip alone.
