It was a sunny day but a bit chilly and very windy so we opted to eat inside. The table wasn't very clean, paper menus were dirty and so many flies. Honestly, we should have left at that point. And the server was not very friendly from the get go. I've worked in customer service and try to give the benefit of the doubt. I was extra friendly towards our server so that things would be pleasant. We ordered the zucchini fries to start. The portion was pretty big but they were dark and a bit over fried. Not great. My Mom ordered coconut shrimp and I ordered the crab cake appetizer. Both were very over cooked. Maybe they need to change their fry oil. But also, they were the worst crab cakes I've ever had. They were balls about the size of a golf ball with a thick, over fried outer crust. The filling was not fresh and just awful. The server never came to ask how our food was at any point. We were going to take the zucchini fries home, but the take out container she brought us was dirty. When we told her about the dirty container and then said nevermind to new container because they weren't really that good. Then my Mom mentioned how none of the food was good and it was all over cooked. Her response was that it looked good to her and that's how their food always is. She was defensive, but said she would tell the cook to watch his fry times. She comped the zuchini fries. But we still had a bill for $50 for 2 small crab balls and 4 or 5 coconut shrimp. My Mom said the only good part was the sauce for the shrimp and I bet they don't make it there.

Stopped in this past weekend (by accident because I got lost driving, lol). So happy to have found this gem! The staff & owner were SO NICE and personable, the food was DELICIOUS (best bruschetta I've ever had), and being on the water was just the cherry on top. My mother enjoyed the seafood stuffed mushrooms. I will definitely be back next summer!

Great atmosphere and wonderful view. We must have caught them on a bad day. Food was average at best and waitress obviously wanted to be someplace else. Nine small tables with 2 wait staff and she was in the weeds. I’m usually a very generous tipper (30-35%) but tipped the industry minimum. Rudeness shouldn’t be rewarded.

Good food and good service. It was a nice late summer afternoon, so we ate outside. Beautiful lake view. We were there between lunch and dinner and had the place to ourselves for a while.

We used to come here every valentines day but haven't for awhile due to kids and schedules. We decided last minute to come here for our anniversary and im so glad we did. I was reminded why this has always been one of our favorites. Service was excellent, the food was amazing and the key lime pie was perfect. Thank you again!!
