Hedges Nine Mile Point Restaurant

Went to Hedges for a nice dinner. Beautiful sunset on the water. The Salmon was fantastic. I only gave it 4 stars because the lobster bisque was not great. I do recommend for a nice dinner in the Webster area.

We just went there spur of the moment on a hot day. Sat outside had a few drinks overlooking the lake. Great little server helped us

We are long time customer including a large wedding rehearsal dinner. We have enjoyed many great meals and service. It is with difficulty to have to write this review.
We had absolute terrible service. Meal cold, side plated on wrong plate, dessert waited on a service tray for over 10 mins, In our view. No coffee was ever asked if we were interested with meal or dessert.
The final was that the bill placed quickly on our table after we waited 30 mins. The bill was the piece of paper she had written our order. No formal print out, not concealed in a booklet, absolutely no way to charge it, unable to read prices , or question one charge . When we have paid there was no way to stand up black book to indicate we had settled bill. Made eye contact with her several times, and indicated we needed her, she turned and left . We handed the cash and what she considered the bill to the bus boy and asked him to give it to her. As we walked out we did see him give to her, but no response from her.
I do not like a scene so we left very unhappy with service. The meal was not up to par that we have experienced for the past years.
I waited for second day to call and inform a manager. I had cooled down and could be calm. He said we have been in business for 97 years. He said how can you let one situation make it so you will not return.
I was accused of not settling it at the restaurant. No apology. I ended the call.
We will find a establishment that believes in their customers.

Hedges has a beautiful view accompanied by magnificent food and wonderful welcoming staff!

Great food, regardless if you get a full meal or just appetizers. Super friendly staff, very genuine.

This awesome restaurant has the most wonderful views and the food is spectacular.Rachel,our waitress was warm and knowledgeable about the menu.

The worst $450 meal I ever had. Two Surf n Turf!

I attended a surprise birthday party at Hedges last Saturday, and it couldn't have been any nicer. I have heard wonderful things about Hedges but had never been there. The food was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was perfect with a piano player in the background, and the service was fantastic. The servers went out of their way to make sure everyone was taken care of.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair, power chair entrance is located in a different area from main entrance.

Lobster was $85 but very good. Steak was just okay. Service and atmosphere are always a 10.

We had excellent food. I had the house salad with crumbled blue cheese and Italian dressing to start, and the veggie rosoto...a huge portion. It was even better the next day! My husband had the Caesar Salad and the Faro Island salmon.

Vegetarian options: There are not a lot of choices. I had the veggie risotto. It does have cheese, so if you are vegan, it won't work. I make exceptions when I eat out.
