I don't like leaving bad reviews but the food I picked up tonight for my wife and I was all wrong. My order was missing bacon which I paid extra for. My wife's order was missing banana peppers, pickle and it had tomatoes which she didn't want. I also waited which I didn't mind but if your going to make me wait at least get the order right. Very disappointed as it was our favorite takeout dinner options

Sub was very dry and almost impossible to swallow. Won’t be ordering from here anymore. So next time I ordered extra oil and sub was still way too dry. We used to get subs from here and they were good. I don’t know if they got a new manager or something now, but the subs are absolutely so dry and terrible. Please go back to the way you were making subs 6-8 months ago. We won’t be coming back. Three times in a row, thought it was maybe a fluke but something changed and not in a good way.

I'm in here 1 to 2 times a week and it is never a disappointment. Food is always great and always welcomed with a hello. I had a half of my sub and asked for a new wrap paper. Instead of giving me the paper. Essence without question asked "would you like me to rewrap it for you?" That's service and why I keep coming back. Updated: Came back today and I tell you there is a difference without Essence in the restaurant. Waited in line forever and No Hello. It sucks that Black Rock is going to drive this nice chain into the ground. Just like Toys r Us...

10/2/24: My sub was good. I'm not sure that the tomatoes 🍅 & other vegetables were kept cold enough on the counter. I did not fall ill after I ate my 🥪. The workers were polite.

So disappointed with my sub today. Ordered chicken chipotle bacon ranch. Not even close to last one I bought that made me go back. I don’t think any chipotle sauce was added. I was so looking forward to it.

Was very disappointed with our subs tonight. August 24 at 6:00p.m. It was just thrown together. Wasn’t cut in fours. The place wasn’t even busy. When and if I order again I will check the sub before I leave. Never happen before. Always order on sundays every week. So very disappointed.
clean place, and delicious however all the cold cuts are cut on the same machine... pork, ham, turkey...... not good for those who cant eat certain meats for religious or medical reasons
