When I think pub, I think of cozy. This wasn't cozy. I was seated in a 3 season porch, on uncomfortable metal patio furniture. The food was good, but they ran out of some menu items. The wait staff was attentive.
The service was great. I ordered the fish fry and it was very greasy, more than I would have expected. Fries were fine. My husband’s broiled fish was kind of tasteless and fishy. The seafood bisque was just bland.
This was our first time at Pub 235 in many years and absolutely loved it. Started out with a loaded fries appetizer, which was amazing, artichokes French, and the chicken French Panini and the burger - all excellent. Lots of food for a decent price and the desserts were excellent also. Even better was the great service that we got from the hostess and from our server Dominique. Will definitely be there again.
