My husband and I recently moved to the Penfield/Webster area. Coming from living downtown, I was a bit worried about not having as many great dinner spots near us. Luckily we found The Peppered Pig and it has become our go-to date spot. The food is always excellent and the service is always super friendly. We have had only good experiences here and recommend it to all of our friends.
I can't say what a surprise this place was. When you drive by the place you could easily go right by or dismiss it. DO NOT. This is a must go place in the area. Hands down some of the best food not only in the area but the country. Take a chance on the this place you will not be mad. **Tip** if you are thinking of of going. Get a reservation.
I've eaten here a couple of times and I never disappoints. I just had their braised pok belly over celery root puree and that alone is worth coming back for. My girlfriend got the steak frites and she ordered it rare and it was actually perfectly rare! I had the special which was roast chicken cog au vin and it was amazing. The chicken wasn't even necessary, the veggies and sauce were superb.
