We hosted a fundraising event here for our school PTO and this location responded that we did not make the minimum funds to get our cut in which we provided multiple orders and receipts showing we did in fact meet the minimum to which the owner responded that it was “happy hour” and all the sales were half off - though none of the receipts show half off. The owner has since ghosted all communication from us regarding this issue

Walked in at 9:30, they close at 10. We order our smoothies and sit down, just talking not making a mess, and at 9:44 they told us they were closed and we need to leave. It was Friday and they close at 10.

I was disappointed in my açaí bowl. When I think of an açaí bowl, I think fresh smoothie and fruit on top. I received a rock solid smoothie bowl that was not fresh. I wanted to eat it right away as I am pregnant and was very hungry. I had to wait about 10 minutes and move it all around to make it somewhat edible. Needless to say, I won’t be coming back.

I like the company itself, but the Webster location was so slow. I ordered a bowl ahead on the app and it took them 12 minuets to finish it. My brother and his friend got their stuff in under five minuets. The guy making my bowl was standing around with two other people with my bowl melting on the counter

Waiting 30 minutes for 1 smoothie is really disappointing! Only 2 orders ahead of me. 2 people working at a snails pace. Will go to Body Fuel always from now on!

I typically love going to Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and I have never had any problems going to the Henrietta or Irondequoit location. The customer service here was terrible, we did not get welcomed when entering the store. When we were to order, the blonde girl with a pony tail and septum piercing with freckles on her face walked away from the register rudely. Thankfully a young man came and took our order with the kindness we should’ve received in the first place. Her attitude was so off putting that the taste of my smoothie and meal was ruined. 1/10 experience.

This is one star because they don't allow minus stars. Upon entering the shop no one was in sight. I said hello a couple of times. No response. Stepped slightly behind counter ,said hello again. A worker stuck his head out and said hello sarcastically. I asked if I could order something. He begrudgingly came up to the front. He was very gruff.After leaving, I realized the smoothie had small bits of something in it. At first, I thought it was just pieces of blueberry. The bits got much larger. Pulling over , I took pieces of plastic out of my mouth. I returned to the store, showed them the plastic. The replies were, " They don't even have any smoothie on them." and "There's nothing in our machines that would do that." I asked for a tray and poured the smoothie out. See picture below. Several pieces were left. No telling how many I swallowed. The response was then, "That must be our supplier's fault not ours." Meaning it was in their ingredients. They refunded my money and gave the owner my contact information. He never called.I went back to the shop a couple days later and was finally able to talk to him. He apologized and said he had talked to his employee about how to properly treat customers and changed their process to avoid future problems. This meant throwing plastic seal rings away instead of putting them in drinks.Given the circumstances and my time to follow up I thought he would offer some coupons, discounts etc. He said absolutely not. The most he could do was the refund, period.Won't be going back there. Wouldn't recommend the place unless you needed some scrap plastic to melt down to make leggo's.
