Unfortunately would like to give positive review, but that wouldn't be honest. Went for breakfast, for second time and food was mediocre at best. Husband ordered two eggs over easy, breakfast potatoes and marble toast. The potatoes arrived cold. I ordered two eggs over hard, hash, and wheat toast with one pancake to share. The hash looked like dog food. And pancake was completely forgotten. How can you screw up breakfast? For 30.00 customers shouldn't be unhappy.
Like eating here , however the booth seats need to be upgraded , sinking down in them makes for an uncomfortable meal.

I live nearby, but I’m not a “regular” at the Wellsburg Diner; I go here for special occasion breakfasts. Staff is always friendly and attentive, kitchen is usually a little on the slow side (considering we usually get pancakes or other simple breakfast items) but the food is worth the wait. Today’s visit was different - we waited no less than 45 minutes for our food, and 3/4 of our meals were cold. We’re probably not going back.
