Unfortunately would like to give positive review, but that wouldn't be honest. Went for breakfast, for second time and food was mediocre at best. Husband ordered two eggs over easy, breakfast potatoes and marble toast. The potatoes arrived cold. I ordered two eggs over hard, hash, and wheat toast with one pancake to share. The hash looked like dog food. And pancake was completely forgotten. How can you screw up breakfast? For 30.00 customers shouldn't be unhappy.

I live nearby, but I’m not a “regular” at the Wellsburg Diner; I go here for special occasion breakfasts. Staff is always friendly and attentive, kitchen is usually a little on the slow side (considering we usually get pancakes or other simple breakfast items) but the food is worth the wait. Today’s visit was different - we waited no less than 45 minutes for our food, and 3/4 of our meals were cold. We’re probably not going back.

Tried for the 1st time. Atmosphere and waiters are awesome. Food.... well side salad (4.99) had an abundance of lettuce, not chopped at all, 2 very thin and mushy hamburger sliced tomatoe with a few slivers of onion (packet dressing) on a plate. And tried homemade macaroni and cheese. Small tiny side for 4.99. It had just come out of the oven. Was hot, but noodle are so soggy. Food was not good and was WAY overpriced. I surely don't mind spending money when it's deserved.

Visited Wellsburg Diner on 08/04/24 for a Birthday Brunch. The booth area/table was filthy. Placed an order of a Spanish Omelet and requested chicken breast to be added to the Omelet. The waitress comes back to our table and informs me that her "boss" said it would be 14.99 for the Omelet plus a 12.99 charge for a complete chicken dinner to add a little chicken breast to my Omelet. Almost $30 for an omelet...Umm no thankyou! When the waitress comes back to the table with the food for the rest of our table, she addresses me with smart comments...Very unprofessional. Within the past 6 months, there has been a steady decline in service at this restaurant. Have expierenced cold food being brought to the table, wrong or missing items in the order. Customer for over 30 years! Worst Customer Service to date!!! Will definitely consider Anne's Pancakes for the next occasion.
