“We went with friends for dinner tonight. It was clean and nice inside. I went for the fish fry. It was very good, everyone was happy with their meals. The sweet potato fries were so good! Server was excellent.”

We ordered two chicken kebab platters and were blown away. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The chicken was incredibly flavorful and tender, the hummus and salads were fresh (the beet quinoa salad was so good I think I like beets now), and the homemade baklava was outstanding.

The restaurant itself is a small family-run Turkish/Mediterranean spot that could easily be overlooked from the outside, but the food is exceptional. You can tell the owners take pride in what they make, and even the takeout order was packaged with care.

They’re also part of the Chemung County Ice Cream Trail, so we’ll be back to try one of the Dubai sundaes next time.

If you’re looking for something different from the usual chain restaurants, this place is absolutely worth a visit.”

“I came in for the first time with a friend shortly before Christmas and enjoyed a delicious lunch along with fantastic service. Although I am local, I can't believe I had never been here! I was also lucky enough to recently receive a gift card from my Daughter & Son in Law. I brought my hubby in today for his first time & he loved it as well. He had the bowl of French Onion Soup & Roast Beef sandwich. I had the Creamy Potato Soup and the Turkey Wrap. Both of our soups were hearty, full of flavor, and so savory. He enjoyed his Roast Beef on Rye with Horsey Sauce and my Turkey Wrap was so DELICIOUS 😋 The staff so very friendly & accommodating. The Cafe is decorated beautifully with lots of beautiful plants & decor. It's a perfect spot to take a little break from life with great meals, good people, and a perfect feeling of hometown comfort”

“I was looking forward to hard ice cream but none of the flavors sounded good. I like peanut butter and they had lots with peanut butter and they had lots of other good flavors just nothing i wanted. I was very happy with my sundae tho. My partner got an orange vanilla swirl cone. He did not like it.”

We came from Corning because the food is so good definitely worth the drive for sure. it's been a while since I've been to a restaurant that I felt completely at home. the cheeseburger and fries were fresh and absolutely delicious. “Service was great, location was SPOTLESS, and beautifully decorated. The outside is very nice and would be great to have an outdoor event (unsure if they offer private events, but they definitely should!) We didn’t order anything too fancy, and I can’t say anything for the food. We had a great chat in the a/c on a really hot evening. Would definitely return.”

We had the whole back room to ourselves (minus one table), the owner accommodated all food requests, everything came out on time as planned. “My husband took me to the Cakery for our anniversary 12/23/2025. I had never been there before and what a quaint and homey place to do something so different, eat sweets and forget the whole meal. Miss Lisa made the most superb cake for us, white cake and divine white icing with designs with gold in them which you can eat. There is only one other bakery that made cake like this and unfortunately went out of business long ago. Thrilled with Miss Lisa's cake. Seeming as we moved up here from New Orleans my favorite dessert is creme brulee. Unable to find the real dessert I was totally surprised when Miss Lisa made the dessert which put me back to the dessert of New Orleans. So delicious. This was a totally charming way to spend our anniversary, Miss Lisa and her brother were fantastic hosts and that evening will forever be in the top part of my experiences. If you have not been there, go!! We plan on making it a special place place to go not only for the desserts but the two people who made it possible for a unique and magical evening. They make you feel like family.”
