“My wife comes here often with the kids. I actually went with the kids the other day, and they have a really good Philly cheese steak. My kids love the burgers as well but I haven't tried them. But the cheese steak is very good. Staff was friendly. Go for the double meat, it's only a few bucks more.“

“My husband and I were craving a good burger, and we noticed The Burger Loft had great reviews, so we decided to give it a try. It’s a spacious, open area, and there weren’t many people—maybe because it was a cold day. We were served by Alex, a very friendly waiter who explained the menu thoroughly. He suggested local beers to my husband, who chose “Photo op”. What stood out was that Alex brought him a Silent Majority to sample as well, which felt like a thoughtful gesture and a reason to come back for more beer tastings.
My husband ordered the Butterfly Burger, which had bacon and avocado, while I went with the Mushroom Burger featuring Swiss cheese. We shared a side of fries, which were spectacular—thin, flavorful, and perfect for two. The burgers looked good, but honestly, they lacked a bit of flavor. We added some salt, which helped, but we had expected more from the taste. That said, the atmosphere is nice, and the service was excellent. We’ll give it another try, maybe for salads or other options next time. Overall, it’s worth another shot“

“Got a triple stacked cheeseburger. The smashed beef had incredible crust and perfect beef to cheese ratio. By far one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Washed it down with a coffee milk shake which complimented it perfectly. Simple but great meal. 10/10!“

“I moved out of town to Duchess County and I drove down to Mohegan Lake just to go to the Applebee’s. The kitchen manager Will was amazing. He helped with my grandchildren’s specific dietary needs. Our server Anna was so knowledgeable and helpful also. I lived in Cortlandt manor for 25 years and loved going there.“

“Great little diner on Main Street in New City. Excellent breakfasts. Try the French toast! Or the blueberry pancakes. Or pretty much everything! Good coffee in old fashioned diner mugs. Friendly staff, too. New owners since January 2025. Updated space looks great. Still good food, friendly staff, now open for dinner 5 nights.“

“When I got there, they had one person working the front counter register as well as the drive thru so it took a while to get service. Afterwards, I found out that one of the workers, that would have been at the front, was helping a person outside getting their car started.Things have improved both at the drive thru and inside.“

“Finally checked this restaurant out. We loved it! The buffalo wings were soo good. We also had the frings (half onion rings and half fries). Great option for those who love both and can't decide like me 😬. The homemade baked apple slices were DELICIOUS. Service was really good. The staff was very attentive. We will definitely be going back!“

“The white castle that's been here for decades went through a remodel during covid times.
Long gone is the window to see them cooking the sliders and the bench tables.
Now it's cut and dry interior of tables and chairs and window seats with a large space in the middle where additional tables could have been placed.
They sell merch: tshirts and caps and some other items.
The menu has expanded a bit more, so you have beef, chicken, fish, impossible to choose from.

“Bareburger never disappoints. This is one the few places that serves Keto-friendly food, which is my husband’s diet. I had the brussel sprouts which were cooked really well. My husband had the ultimate smash burger in the flax see keto bun. Bonus points too for the friendly sever.“

“All the places I frequent in haverstraw and I’ve never seen this place. I have to say the fish and fries were excellent, well seasoned but not salty. The people there were kind including the owner. I like the diversity of the people and music. Overall very nice experience for both my sister and I.“
