I adore this place! They prepare great food, their menu is decent, The cook in that restaurant is very experienced, I like very much tasting all their dishes. The food is consistently fresh, the service towards the visitors is efficient. I often go to this place and I was never discontended. I highly recommend it.

We were married and celebrated there 2b years ago. Same owners now as then. Same great food and staff. That's truth our maitre d tonight was the maitre d at my wedding for my wife and I. He is there for 28 years. That kind of staff retention and repeat customer base make Pompei a family favorite through the years.

I eat in this spot a lot since I work in the area. I love how their customer service is always awesome and they keep the spot neat regularly. Pricing is reasonable and they serve generous portions.

A lovely 50th anniversary party. Great service , really , really good food and lots of it. We drove an hour to get there and it was we'll worth the trip. We'll recommend it to family.
Every time I'm here, I never get a good meal. I've done sit down and attended catered events getting the same disappointment. Others say it's great, so maybe it's just my d*** luck.

So we ate here Friday night Valentines Day based on a recommendation from a coworker and friend of mine whose opinion I can trust . It was a great choice . Interestingly the meal got better as it progressed . I wasn’t overwhelmed with the bread basket and I asked for olive oil which was brought promptly but it was not extra virgin and thus I was disappointed . We shared baked clams which were very good . The house wines , specifically the Cabernet were also good and a generous pour . Each entree comes with a house salad . Too much dressing was put on the salad . Also I believe they offer the salad to help alleviate the wait for the main course . The portions are so generous you don’t really need the salad but the food is prepared with care so be patient . I loved the veal pizzaiola which came with a side of pasta enough for a family of four . The shrimp scampi was also very good . We got a side order of broccoli rabe which was one of the many highlights of our dinner . We somehow saved room for a shared dessert and the Italian cheesecake was off the charts excellent as was the espresso . All in all a very good restaurant with a big following so while it may take some time between courses it is worth the wait

we came for dinner after a concert found that they had a price fixed menu for ~$25 which included: soup or salad; main course w pasta (veggies extra $4); coffee & dessert & glass of wine or soft drink food was good-long wait between salad/soup & main course we had: minestrone & a salad; chicken sorrentino w pasta & pork chop w escarole all fresh, all good-shame about delay to get main course plentiful portions-lunch tomorrow

Thank you so much to the wait staff we had for the baby shower in the window room today which was lovely and spring like! Waiter's were efficent, polite and on point!!! Champagne punch was a must have and main course pasta was a huge portion!
