I've passed by this bakery for years without ever stopping in, which I will admit was a mistake on my part! The gentlemen behind the counter is always friendly and professional and the bakery is always clean. The cakes are delicious - sweet, moist, perfect texture. While some flavors are are always available, he experiments each week with different varieties, so there is always something new to try. Would recommend for a quick sweet treat, or for a formal event.
I was at this shop for inspection today. Left this place as a customer! Got sweet potato cake and chocolate overload for my wife, we both loved it! Next time I’ll go with my wife for another selection. It’s truly a hidden pearl. Highly recommend anyone, if you’re in the neighborhood! The taste, the texture of the cake is truly unique! Unfortunately I can’t post any pictures of the cakes cos we already ate them! lol!

I recently used Sydney's sweets for cupcakes at my baby shower. I sent them a picture of a smore's cupcake for inspiration and they took my inspiration photo and made it 100x's better. the cupcakes were adorable! they were also moist and delicious, all of my guests were raving! I can't wait to use them again for other events

My favorite bakery when in New York. The sweet potato swirl cake slice is the best thing I’ve ever tasted! There is always something new with the rotating flavors so it’s fun to try different cakes. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The retail hours are very specific though worth working around to get to experience. My wife tried the strawberry crunch cheesecake and she LOVED it as well. I don’t think this place could miss!
Im a black woman trying to support black business. They made it so hard to get a cake. I enjoyed the cake that’s why the food rating is high however the customer service is trash ! I would never use them again. Legit had to reach out over 5 times to the point I started looking for other bakers really not worth 385. I’m not going to give 5 starts just because I finally got the cake and it was yummy. Do better !!
Had to come back for an edit because after 15 minutes I was contacted when it took me longer to get a response for business lol

This is a local gem worthy of many 5 star reviews. Although it's a small place with limited options, it easily outperforms many of it's local competitors. I went in for a caramal apple pie slice for my wife and couldn't resist picking up a sweet potato slice for myself. Before even trying the slices I had a conversation with whoever was working the register today, where I found out that everything is made fresh daily with high-quality organic ingredients. I've heard these things said before and never really put much value on that, but let me tell you, the taste speaks for itself. The ingredients were of the highest quality. When I tasted the sweet potato cake, I took my time eating it as I savored every bite. Being someone who has tried several hundred bakeries, it takes a lot to impress me, so when I tell you this spot is legit, you should run to it!

Went here for my wedding cake after seeing the reviews and everything could not have been more perfect. Our wedding cake came out beautiful and exactly like the inspo pics I sent. We ordered the blue velvet cookies & cream and it was so good, lots of compliments on the taste! Overall they did a phenomenal job & I will definitely be using their services for future events!
