One thing I miss about living in Long Island are the Tex-Mex restaurants. Yes, they're not of the highest quality, and usually they're in a cheap location, and the horrible customer service is always a given, but I do enjoy the food every once in a while.

After searching for a Tex-Mex restaurant, I stumbled across Taco King. This location is actually pretty big with plenty of sitting space. My usual go-to dish at a Tex-Mex place is the Grilled Steak...

I got the chicken quesadilla and it was so delicious, so was the chicken soup. The owner is nice and the rest of the staff are so well mannered. I would definitely recommend sitting down to eat here. I don’t even usually like tomatoes but I’d say it added to the dish.

Great tasting food, attentive hosts, great atmosphere… My colleagues and I are present, at least, once a week. Some of the best food we’ve enjoyed, along the local Hempstead strip!
