Bad service, they add a 20% tip to your bill, as someone in the service industry, getting bad service and having to still tip 20% is unacceptable. Don’t waste your energy here.

Honestly, service is pretty rude unless they know you personally. Cash only
Their espresso is so bad, I wanna like this place so bad it’s cute but the staff gives me anxiety and the drinks are awful consistently

"After waiting a couple of years to visit, I finally made it, and it was a good experience overall. The vegan Philly cheesesteak was absolutely delicious – full of flavor and definitely a standout dish. While the crème brûlée was enjoyable, the sugar layer was a bit thick for my personal taste. As for the mac and cheese, it was comforting, but I think a sharper cheddar would have taken it to the next level. All in all, a solid experience, and I look forward to visiting again.....someday.

What a lovely atmosphere! Between the velvet sofas and antique coffee tables, such a darling place to unwind and relax. The tiramisu was amazing! Highly recommend!

Fun spot that's been there for many years. When visiting the area we always stop in for coffee. Great vegan options. The menu can be daunting with so many options, often better to stick to the simpler things which are always done well.

I've started going to this place when they first opened. I'm so glad they are still around almost 30 years later. It's been a while so I got the hot brownie and the Vamp espresso drink. Vegan friendly.
Goth theme. It's been a long time since I've been here at night, but as a teen this was a place to go and feel accepted. The vibe. The music. My happy place. Long live the Brew.

I came here around lunchtime, as my first time here, i thought we would only come for a small bite and drinks but was pleasantly surprised to see such a great menu of all kinds of beverages for everyone, including a toddler, the menu was fully vegetarian and vegan friendly also! It was such a sweet surprise and even more satisfying that every single thing we ordered was delicious ! Staff was also super accommodating, sweet and friendly and they really made sure we were happy with it all ! Thank you guys for a great experience, cant wait to come back ??‍♀️ ?

Absolutely love coming here every time. Great food, great atmosphere and fantastic coffee. Completely up my bf and i's alley, if I had one around the corner from my house I'd be here everyday!

Cool vibe but I wouldn’t go here again. I got dinner and the food was mid and honestly not worth the price. I got a gluten free Oreo cheesecake and that was delicious. Also, it is cash only and there is an automatic 20% gratuity. Staff was hustling but I barely interacted with my server, so I was a bit underwhelmed.

It’s a weird annoying system. You can’t just walk in, order a coffee, and leave. They have a system that seems like it’s left over from the COVID lockdowns where they heard people with lots of room between them and then when you’re waiting for them to make a coffee you have to wait down a little hall near the bathroom. It’s frustrating and stupid but the coffee is decent. I would not go here on the regular.

When I was asked to pay $16 for two take out coffees I thought they had better be the best damned coffees I’ve ever had, but no, they were insipid and weak and the milk poorly steamed. No idea what I paid for. As someone who knows coffee, I’d even recommend Starbucks over this dreadful attempt. Highway robbery. At least the spot I was told to wait in looked kinda cool. But I wouldn’t go here for the coffee.
