$8 for the tiniest cup of coffee that doesn’t even fit in my cup holder because it’s so small. This place is a rip off. The staff also got defensive and a bit rude when I asked if the size was a large.

VIBES
I've been going to the Witches Brew since about 2008 and it's still one of my favorite cozy spots. The decor is spooky and a little eclectic. While during the day you can see the fun mixed and matched vintage furniture, at night their warm string lights make for the coziest ambiance. It's especially perfect during the Halloween season. One thing that I noticed from our most recent visit on a Friday evening is there were a good amount of families with kids and even babies. It might be quieter to go at a different time like I have in the past. Funny enough, it's probably all the people like me who used to come here in our high school days.
SERVICE
They get super busy and have implemented a virtual waiting list system that you can find via a link on their Instagram. It'll notify you when you're next and gives you 10 minutes to get back there. Honestly, easy nicer than waiting in a line outside in the cold! They've also always had super nice servers that regardless of time have the same friendly chill vibes.
FOOD
My favorite thing to get here is one of their special coffee flavors. They have a huge assortment with fun spooky names. I love picking one with a marshmallow flavor base. Might be called Midnight. They also have a huge adjustment of loose leaf teas that they serve in cast iron tea pots. These drinks pair perfectly with their desserts. My favorite things to get from them is a warm cinnamon bun a la mode.
For their savory food it should be noted that the whole menu is vegetarian/vegan friendly. Something we ALWAYS get is their focaccia which is warm and cheesy. Their artichoke dip with nachos is excellent and my husband enjoyed his falafel sandwich with fries.

If I could only give it half a star more. Not perfect, wait staff was slow. All vegan menu. Good tea too.

I went there today and the food and the coffee was absolutely amazing. There was a really handsome guy at the door today wearing a Yankees hat who was really sweet and really friendly. He was so accommodating. He sat at a wonderful seat. The only reason I’m not giving this five stars is because our server with the short hair and tattooswas not friendly at all, he completely ignored us. He was muttering the F word underneath his breath. I don’t understand why he immediately hated us for some reason or acted like it he was did not ask us how the food was. He really could’ve cared less otherwise I would’ve given this place five stars but the guy with the Yankees had at the door is amazing and the food was amazing and the coffee was incredible. I will definitely be back. Hopefully, I get a different server.

Carrot cake was comically small and not worth the price at all. Coffee tasted ok but overpriced. Ordered takeout and waited way long then they said it would take especially for something like a coffee and a tiny slice of cake.

As far as I remember this restaurant hosts AA meetings. I think they should make that abundantly clear for customers. They need to understand that when they say they are waiting outside with no tables filled there is a reason. I’ve been to one of the meetings. I do agree that the fact they don’t take reservations is an absolute nightmare. I’m trying to figure out a time to go tonight (Saturday) and it’s an absolute nightmare. I was there not too long ago for early dinner.

This Gem of Long Island Offers a Cozy vibe with an At-Home feels. They have a huge Fancy and Regular Coffee list as well as some of the best Vegetarian and Vegan Options around! They even have some comfy outdoor accommodations!
The Staff is Phenomenal and allways succeeds in making customers feel At-Home. Will return and recommend to all my friends!

Vibes are spooky and cozy and mysterious.
Food is delicious ! Desserts are even better !
Lots of delicious drink options for vegans as well. My go to is a vegan strawberry milkshake with whipped cream (v).
Indoor and outdoor seating. Pets allowed outside and they are VERY pet friendly :) my little guy once got a little pup cup.
Service is always great. Sweet, attentive and just overall cool.
This is one of my go to spots for late night grub 😋

My daughter and I went on a Saturday without a reservation. If you are more than two people DEFINITELY make a reservation! We got very lucky as the hostess was so helpful. We received a table outside in less than five minutes. The atmosphere is exactly what we were hoping for. The servers were all so happy and helpful. Everything came out quickly and was very yummy! Will or sure be going back again!

They charge for ice, only take cash, charge a takeout percentage (?), its not big enough for customers - the only cool thing was the decorating and vibe inside for pics, nothing else.

not ashamed of the amount of times i come here, it’s my go to spot. i love that they change the menu every few months based on what’s in season, until i love something so much and they don’t have it . it’s crazy that they say they are vegan cause you would’ve fooled me but i love variety and man do they have options! the coffee the tea the pastries the food and the atmosphere really do make this place what it is . the service is always so welcoming and friendly. the decor is what got me as soon as i walked in the first time, whimsical goth laid back and cozy . i couldn’t find all the pictures ive taken of my times there but there will be more to come !

They have good vegan selections...Very tasty. You really dont need to eat meat anymore. Its not the same as when we were kids. #Message
This place is not accommodating to nut allergies at all. When I politely told the server that I had a nut allergy, he acted almost offended and irritated. He gave me no options or suggestions on what to eat. I surely couldn't be the first ever customer with a nut allergy to walk into this restaurant, so I was really surprised that he would not have offered any suggestions. I ended up just having a coffee and it was fine. A lot of hype for the spooky vibes but not worth it.
