Was a cold night and i didnt feel like cooking. My husband and I decided to go to our local restaurant for a quick bite, instead we had a lovely dinner from soup to nuts including a glass of wine. The food as as ways was great and so was the service. Homemade rice puddding was great too.
Best lunch specials no matter what season!
Dinner specials should drive people in/complimentary bread basket with choice of rolls or their homemade bread sweeten the palette. Mediterranean cuisine has entrees with savory spices and sauces we can't return.
I strongly recommend their rice pudding, a slice of strawberry cheesecake, or chocolate cake. I don't know if it was a German chocolate desert slice I had once experienced there....

Lovely Mother’s Day brunch with Jil. I had a Mexican omelette with sausage with hashbrowns (needed salt) and rye toast (perfectly buttered, reminded me of Rein’s). The coffee was above average diner coffee. I liked the terrazzo bathroom sink and 80s hand dryer.
