First time trying this place. It was just okay. Disappointed with my salad bowl with grilled chicken that came with toppings. Not much of toppings or chicken were on it, more lettuce than anything. Tacos were soggy.

I drive 15 minutes out of my way in both directions to come here. The restaurant has a simple, but clean and friendly atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and the service is on point.I usually get the west islip lion burrito. Its got everything you wouldn't put in your every day burrito, but it hits the spot every time.I also get the meatless nachos which is loaded with toppings. Its almost impossible to get a nacho chip with nothing on it. Their empanadas are delicious as well.Just after writing this review, I noticed there was bacon in the burrito I ordered. I don't eat pork, so I called the restaurant to ask how to handle it since I don't live close. Not only did they make me a new one, but they drove all the way to my house 15 minutes away just to get my order and gave me a piece of tres leches cake. I've never had tres leches cake I've liked, but this cake is delicious.You guys are awesome. Thank you

First off the staff is very friendly. I picked up my first catering order today and this is another area where this place really shines.The food was timed out perfectly for pick up…The taco bar set up was packaged beautifully with more than enough sauces and toppings. Crunchy and soft beef tacos, empanadas, rice, and guac were all ?My whole family was very pleased with the food. Will order again, thank you.

Been here numerous times, have had many things from their menu, have always found the food freshly made and consistent. Food seems like authentic Mexican. Prices are reasonable.
I got a reply from the owner justifying his bad quality and mediocre portions only acceptable for this community (west Islip) where the food scene is non-existent. I can speak about this community as I am apart of the same for over 35 years. I will update my review and include pictures of 2 different burritos -as evidence- without any protein inside (literally CRUMS) Of chicken and exploding with yellow rice and beans only. As a business owner myself one tip: Stop waisting time replying to costumers, avoid the reputational risk by serving nice food and most importantly serving what you charge for. Prices are far off from the competition - and you can’t compete with the portion/quality the competition have.Regards,

I have never started a review this way.. but..I may be in love with whoever is behind the grill. That chicken "buffarito" is divine. The rice is always perfectly cooked and the chicken is delicious. Trust me, get a medium/large bang bang sauce. It's perfect. I have not been to the in person restaurant just yet, but trust you will see me VERY soon. Thank you. Always delicious.

My second trip here first time I tried the tacos they were wet. The lettuce were dripping with water. This time I got a burrito and a taco taco is horrible. I threw it the away, but the burrito was actually pretty good if you have sour cream

Please stay away from this place. The burritos are just rice and beans (no meat whatsoever) it’s literally like crumbs of protein. It is unfortunate since they are charging the burrito like they have quality food and substancial portions. I don’t feel empathy toward the business owner as he is not servicing quality and trying to fool costumers with tortillas packed with rice and beans….only in west Islip you see this.
