Besito has done a great job transitioning to the south shore. The atmosphere is different from the Huntington location, but only in a way that makes it feel like it's always been in West Islip. The food is superb, and although the menu doesn't highlight this, their complimentary tortilla chips and salsa are homemade, and it shows. We have now been there three times, and we have yet to be disappointed by the food or staff. My last foray to their dining room, I indulged in the Arrechera (skirt steak). It was lightly marinated and cooked to my liking; medium rare. I was expecting it to be cooked correctly, but I was ill-prepared to find it so tender. Also, as an aperitif... I highly recommend their El Pepino Margarita. What a refreshing mix of fresh cut jalapeños, cucumber and high-quality alcohol.
What an amazing place and vibe. Just be careful with the fundido skillet, it is super hot and they don't cover the handle, so you can get easily distracted and burn yourself like I did. Lol. In all fairness they warn you it's hot. Fundido.. delicious. We can't wait to go back. Cocktails were amazing.

Everything on the menu is outstanding including the customer service.The Mango Margarita was refreshing because I asked that it be made with minimal sugar. The Sonora Ribs were so tender that it melted in my mouth. The Tres Leches cake was fabulously good.TIP: Add some salsa sauce to the table-side Guacamole for a flavor boost.

Ordered Saturday night takeout . I Ordered Quesabirria . Saw the video on Instagram It looked amazing. They give you 3 corn tortillas ,there was about 1 /ounce of meat in each . Was very disappointed. For $28 . I know advertising adds always make it look better but come on. Take me about 20 min to get there and 20 minutes home, to get that surprise . Tasted amazing but they forgot to put the meat!!! let's just say I was still starving after I ate!!

Got a reservation for 3 at Besito, we got to the restaurant early, we were told that we had to wait a few minutes, that ended up being 25 minutes OVER our reservation time. WHATS THE POINT OF HAVING A RESERVATION THEN? the hostess was on her phone the entire time, rolling her eyes everytime we would ask when is the table going to be available, she didn’t offer us water, there were sits at the bar available that she neglected to mention, she also didn’t let us order in advance, we spoke to the manager that said sorry but did NOTHING to make our experience better. We left without getting to dine in, after talking to him. If this is how you treat your customers, how do expect them to come back?

Portions have gotten smaller! The prices have gone up! Kudos to the chef. I recently ordered and was so disappointed! I spent over $100 for salad and steak (ARACHERA) small guacamole tomates were cut into huge pieces(poor presentation.Barely saw the avocado Disappointed! and they gave me only one rice and one bean soup. For 2x orders. The person at the entrance manager/shift manager stated you only get one per order. Well it’s two orders going to different location. He said you get one order per table. Well, I’m not dining in! And orders are going too two different locations. The website does not state that! Additionally, when you order one entree you get the rice and beans if you order two orders you still only get one rice and one bean the portion is so small, I spent $100+ on steak and a quarter cup of arugula! And expected to make a decision on what family gets the 4 ounces of rice or the 1/4 cup of beans. Disappointed!!! Must add the food is very good ! Except the portions.
Solid experience. The waitstaff was superb. Host staff could be a bit more friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent... I'd say, near-gourmet experience. Clean, crisp atmosphere. I'd certainly recommend for brunch. Thank you.

Nice dinner shrimp tacos guacamole and steak quesadillas along with delish sangria. Noise level when first arrived very loud but quieted down as the evening went on. Service very good and since it was mid week no rush. Will be back soon
