Great American Cookies

Is this the cookie cake place from nanuet mall? If so, I used to get their cookie cakes all the time... when it was way cheaper. How is it over 50$ now?!

Bro the cookies here are out of the world. If you're looking for a cheap cookie this is definitely not the place to come, at about $3 a cookie. But they're legit insane. Also not exactly sure how kosher are they are? Fingers crossed 🤞

Very happy with our cookie cake!

I just went to The Great American Cookie at the Palisades Mall and boy was I surprised by my visit. First off, the place was immaculate and even though they were busy, was greeted at immediately by all 4 of the workers (their names were Stephanie, Valerie, Marlene and Jamie). Two of the workers were on their way out and they still took the time to greet and talk to me. I ordered 4 cookies and they offered me a great deal-if I purchased one more they would give me a 6th free! The cookies were fresh, warm and unbelievably delicious. I think these were the best cookies I’ve ever had (especially the Chocolate chip and Lemon ones). They even asked me for my phone number and told me about a great rewards program they have after spending a certain amount. They were so friendly-I’m not used to this type of service from anywhere these days. Go to Great American Cookie next time you are at the Palisades Mall-it’s located on the third floor - just outside Macy’s. You will not be disappointed! Mmmmmmm!!

it’s a shame because this place sells some of the best store bought cookies you can get but the service is just atrocious. they hide the cookies 2 hours before closing for some reason. and when i asked the girls behind the counter if they had any left and they sarcastically said “no they’re all sold out” yeah right, i didn’t believe that for a second. and the last straw happened yesterday when i bought a cookie for my daughter and she dropped it on the floor right in front of the employees because the cookie was so soft it just fell apart in her hands. the employee noticed and said “would you like another one?” i was so grateful until she said “that’ll be 2.59” look i get that it wasn’t the employees fault but they could’ve easily used that opportunity to earn a 5 star rating instead of this 1.

I’ve been ordering my birthday and holiday cookie cakes from this location for the past few years. The cakes are always ready on time, delicious, and done accurately.

All in all… terrific.

Tl:Dr delicious cookies, great staff, artful cakes.First of all, I love their cookies. What's best though is their custom cookie cakes. I've given them challenging designs, and they've always exceeded expectations. To the point that now I have coworkers who request cookie cake designs for events. Their communication is great too, making sure everything is right. I'll post an example.If you want to have fun with custom cakes, give them a try. They seem so enthusiastic, it really is a pleasure.

Not a fan. If you are used to high quality homemade cookies avoid this place. Typical mall junk.

My family absolutely loves the cookies and the cookie cake. They gave amazing decorators and they are so friendly. Have to get a cookie cake for all our occasions from here!!!! also the Domino cookie is the best!!!!

If you haven't yet, you MUST head down to your nearest store and get some Pumpkin Spice cookies! OMFG WAY too good!

Just tried these cookies today for the first time (thanks to the tykes Tuesday cookie decorating activity) and honestly the cookies were super delicious and so fresh and soft! I tried both the sugar cookie and the original chocolate chip and both did not disappoint! I will definitely be back for more deliciousness !

These teenage workers act like they’re way to busy to even look at you when there just standing around! Also stale Oreo stuffed cookie.. like come on
