Gus's is a legendary culinary institution in blue collar Watervliet. It is greasy, messy, inexpensive, unhealthy, and monumentally a must-do Capital District bucket list visit. I grew up across the river in Troy, NY, but I've lived in Central Virginia for 20 years. I visit Gus's every time I return to visit my family.“

“Wendy's burgers are my favorite. Staff were nice and we had good conversations as I got my food. Didn't have to wait to long at all. Don't mean to ding the place for atmosphere but it is just a fastfood restaurant, nothing to fancy going on in there“

“This McDonald’s is, hands down, the best in the capital region. I order on the app & then pick it up at the drive- thru. The food is promptly ready, always hot & they don’t pour the drinks until you get up to the window so they are never melted down. The staff are pleasant & efficient. Great place! PS: the parking lot has a few craters so drive slowly…“

“The guy who made my sub was very meticulous while making it which I appreciated. The sub wasn't the best I've had but I also let it cool down too much before eating and should've asked for extra of some of the toppings, so that's on me.“
